Located at Cape Foulwind, a short drive from Westport, the cabin enjoys unobstructed views of the Tasman Ocean and The Steeples Rocks.

The Cape Rocks allows you to enjoy the beauty of the rugged West Coast right at your doorstep! Take a short walk to the pristine, quiet beaches or view the seals on the popular Lighthouse walkway. Finish off your day with a drink and meal at the local pub or enjoy beautiful local food at the famous Bayhouse restaurant.

Great place to stay in unique setting

Brilliant place for two people to stay, we had stunning hot sunny days and was hoping for one rain day to watch the mood of the sea.Lots to do nearby and a good base to venture to Karamea or inland up the Buller river

Beautiful peaceful location. Wonderful wee bach with comfortable sofas and bed, great shower and stunning vistas. We would definitely like to return!

Perfect spot

Great stay in a cosy spot. Perfect for watching the West Coast weather and a good base for some on foot exploration. Enjoyed watching the weka and the tavern round the corner.

Spectacular Cape Foulwind

What a cosy stay. The weather was bad when we arrived but our accomodation was just perfect for us. The bed was comfy and we had everything we needed including walking distance from the country pub.This is an amazing bit of coast - shame we couldn’t stay longer. Our host was extremely helpful

This is a very comfortable sunny and warm Bach. It's location is right by two of the most dramatic beaches that I have ever visited. Nicer cutlery needed..dont mind second hand.I would stay here again.As one other visitor has stated...the

„Clifftop“ beautiful little house in a beautiful location

Perfect setting on top of the cliffs with great views, nice pattio. Do not miss the walk down to the beach! Place is perfect for two peiple but can easily accomodate three. We only spent one night, would have loved to stay longer. Perfect place for a stopover when exploring the West coast

A very clean and tidy Bach , with a magnificent view and lots of easy scenic walks and beaches nearby. Easy communication with the owner who went out of her way to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.

Great spot to get away....

Loved our stay here with our family of 3. Perfect spot to get away from the hustle and bustle. Close distance to the seal colony, light house and most importantly, the local (very friendly) pub. Ocean view and only 10 mins away from Westport city center. Definitely will re-visit.

Great getaway & great location

We had a really nice time at Cape Foulwind! The house is in an amazing location looking out to the sea, great walks at the doorstep, playground for the young fella and even a little beach a few minutes walk away. Definitely plan on going back there sometime soon we hope! Thanks

Beautiful place

The setting is what makes this bach special - you look straight out at the Cape Rocks. The beach below the property is amazing too - a real gem that we weren't expecting. The property probably works best for 2 people (we had three stay) and the amenities are simple but very clean and certainly adequate for us as we were out taking advantage of the stunning weather and location. Overall, we loved it.

No way of getting in. Neighbour had ring ring someone. If neighbour had not been home would would have had nowhere to stay. Did not need the drama!

Cape delight

Had a lovely , quiet, relaxing time here. communication was good and clear set of guides to house and keys. terrific views of the ocean, which was in full roar while there. beautiful cape walk around lighthouse and seal colony. Wind was invigorating to say the least, but not a scrap of litter to be see on the beaches and walks! Flaxes shimmered in the wind and sun, really blew the cob-webs out!. A short drive to Westport to some to the best pies you'll ever get ya teeth into, a must esp' is ya a non-kiwi and not used to real pies made properly. The house was clean, spacious, well appointed and had really nice unfussy setup. If your considering...just go, its a really great get-away you'll love. Wekas will entertain you as you relax. Great spot for all, mind the first step on the beach front though, its a bit of a goodun.
