About this property

This 1970's unit is fully self contained and offers a great place to park up and enjoy the surrounding area.

Situated just off the main road at Carters Beach minutes away from the beach, playground and local bar and restaurant and a short drive to the golf course and airport. A beach cricket bat, two boogie boards and tennis rackets also for guest use. There is free internet available.

Just 5 minutes drive to the north is Westport township and beyond the gateway to northern Buller and Karamea. 10 minutes to the south is the beautiful Tauranga Bay, a great surfing beach, the seal colony and the lighthouse walkway. The new Kawatiri trail from Carters Beach to Westport is a great way to get to town, either by bike or walking the 4km easy off road trail that goes through beautiful native bush and along side the Buller river.
A fantastic area to explore.

Home sweet home while away

We traveled to Buller for the annual marathon event. We decided to stay in Carters Beach rather than Westport because we wanted to be near the lovely beach at Carters that we have visited many times before. We saw the listing for this property and thought it would be perfect for a relaxing weekend at the beach and we weren't disappointed! Such a homely, relaxed feel to the accommodation. We received a lovely welcome and farewell from Barb our host. Great showers, great beds and so clean and comfortable. Not like a sterile motel room, these units make you feel at home while away! We enjoyed it so much we have already booked again for next year!
