About this property

Spectacular Beachfront in Whiritoa

This cosy bach is positioned directly on the beach front. It offers guests expansive views of the white sands of Whiritoa.

Whiritoa has a lagoon at one end which is perfect for children to safely paddle in. At the other end is a blow hole which can be found after a quick walk through Native bush. During the summer months the surf beach is protected by surf lifeguards and the surf club serves bar meals on Saturdays.

The home now has heatpumps in the lounge and master bedroom for perfect temperature inside year round.

Bedroom 1 has a King bed and Bedroom 2 has a queen bed. Both include deck access with beachfront views. Bedroom 3 includes a single bed plus a single bunk set. This is a great wee set up for a family beach escape!

Whangamata is 10 minutes and Waihi is a 15 minute car ride if guests would like to visit either location.
We will only rent our property to people who have some previous bookabach or AIrBNB feedback.
Special conditions:
Deck not suitable for small children, no railing and 1 metre drop. Smoking not allowed.
Dogs are permitted but must be controlled at all times as there is a dotterel sanctuary directly in front of the property(beach access for dogs is 2 minutes walk away)

Right on the beach! Nice and clean, all the necessary amenities. Beautifully positioned. Loved our walks along the beach with our dog to the lagoon and blowhole, enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the sunset and listening to the ocean. Just perfect. The hosts kept in contact with us during our stay and made sure everything was satifsfactory.

Perfect getaway

We had an amazing stay. The communication was excellent, perfect spot right on the beach and the dog friendly part of the beach was only a couple minutes away. The setup is superb, everything we needed, great amenities, especially the 3 fridges!! We loved our stay, the kids didnt want to leave.

Great house in a stunning location!

We had a lovely stay and the house was great for some relaxing family time right on the beach. The house was clean, warm and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, ensuring a great sleep and the shower was hot with great pressure. We loved that our dog had a fully fenced garden and deck to hang out in too.

Beautiful beachfront stay

Amazing beach front home really tidy with extras :) Beach is a bit rough for younger kids but the “blow hole” And “thegap” ( right by home ) plus estuary down other end makes up for it. Nice comms with owners very easy to deal with recommend!

Another great stay at this property. The weather was a huge improvement on last summer so we were able to enjoy relaxing on the deck with its gorgeous view. Only complaint was it was too short!

Incredible stay at Whiritoa

We have been visiting Whiritoa for many years, and you cannot beat the location of this property. It has everything you need, and the view is absolutely stunning. We were even able to watch a full moon coming up over the ocean, while sitting on the deck. The air-con in the bedrooms makes a huge difference.We would definitely come back here.

Just what you need

Loved this place. Perfect for us, the kids 11 & 13 had plenty to do on the beach, swimming in the lagoon and loved climbing around the rocks at the blowhole. Free Tennis courts nearby kept us all entertained. Beds were super comfy and the kitchen well equipped for easy cooking, great to have the bbq. All round a great stay. Thanks very much
