Had a wonderful stay in this rustic beachside cottage. Great location!
Appreciated the ability to bring along our furry travel companion. Great proximity to town but away from the hustle and bustle. And can’t beat the sound of the ocean in your ears all day!

Great location peaceful with a wonderful view and easy access to Napier
We (5 adults 2 dogs) stayed for 4 nights during the Hawkes Bay Marathon. Loved the house, the view, the sea across the road and the sunny outside areas front and back with wonderful bird song. Everything we needed, great fire with piles of logs and kindling for the evenings, comfy beds, safe area for dogs and our lovely host Michelle very accessible for any queries. Perfect for us.
Loved the character of this place and the master bedroom was phenomenal. What a lovely space for hanging out in reading books and listening to the ocean roar

Sooo happy you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for booking :)
Magnificent location, cosy and welcoming place oozing old fashioned Bach vibe but with all mod cons. Feels Ng safe and secure even with strong winds and rough seas ahead. Our overseas travellers loved it.
Great communication with our host. Our stay was early January, with very unusual cold weather for the Bay, but we were very toasty and warm with the open fire and wood provided. The home is as described (rustic) but comfortable

Michelle's place is cool. Really great areas to sit and relax. Loved the huge upstairs bedroom with its tranquil feel and seaviews. Michelle was great. Fantastic communication which made our stay easy and relaxing.
Perfect spot - so relaxing listening to the sea. Great woodburner which was handy for the unseasonable weather that we were having when we arrived. Easy drive into Napier City. Just lovely - thank you

Glad you had a relaxing stay and kept warm by the fire :)
My partner and I so enjoyed our stay, not long enough. Cosy, Rustic, Quiet, Beautiful views. We had the holiday we were hoping for, relaxing, coffee & wine on the sand, steps away from house watching the sunset was just what we needed, lovely area. We enjoyed meeting the manager and she was ever so accommodating. We will definitely make this our secret getaway.

Hope to see you again some day in he future.
Lovely week away with our dogs! Bach is old so be prepared to feel cold.. fireplace works magic! Thank you for the firewood 👍!! Outer Napier … so great location for feeling away but close to city amenities! We loved exploring Hawke’s Bay and found it very dog friendly 🐶🙌🙏!
We had a great stay despite the chill weather. The wood stove helped keep everything comfortable. View of the bay is great, and it’s just across the road to the beach. The master bedroom was large, the two queen bedrooms were tight. The description of rustic is appropriate. Just a short drive to Napier where the selection of restaurants is overwhelming but wonderful.

Quaint, beautiful home right across from the water
This was an absolutely beautiful property looking over the sea. The beds are super comfy. It has everything you need, even a washing machine outside. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor and a lounge and then a lovely bedroom upstairs. And a lovely fireplace with wood provided. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you so much!

I’m so happy you enjoyed your time here.
The fire wood for Winter has arrived today, so a well stocked supply should you ever return :)
Great place to drop your head for the night.
Michelle was super accommodating with some last minute changes. Really appreciated the effort.
Thanks

Quant property in a relaxing, friendly location. We loved the nice linens and the ‘feel’ of this cozy holiday home. Noted the compact living area allows for only couch or outside dinning and the shower is a little slower than some ... However, the lovely spacious area upstairs offers stunning views. We thank you for the friendly communication and making our family pup welcome.

Short stay
Although this place is described as rustic it could do with some TLC. Looks very tired but the bedding was clean. Outside doesn't appear to of had attention for a while also. Removed battery from smoke alarm as it was going off at 4am -needs replacing. We were just there to sleep so worked ok for us

Sorry you had the battery going flat on smoke alarm. There were replacements in bottom drawer with lightbulbs
Outside was 3 weeks growth of sun and a lot of rain unfortunately hence why weeds were getting longer. The Gardner comes every 4 weeks so it does get attention.
Was really nice to head to a fairly local place to have some time out as a family: no interruptions etc.
Beautiful rustic bach the way they should be: Awesome to have our dogs with us and the brazier in the back garden that was enclosed. Bring your marsh mallows and sticks.
Fridge ran a bit warm so chucked some foods out I would normally keep as daughter pregnant but not an issue for two days: Would stay again
