This brand new property is offered to discerning travelers for the very first time. This house shares, with its twin next door, a warm and welcoming facade. Once inside, you will find a stylish two-bedroom accommodation in which to consolidate and rest after your journey.
Everything you need for a comfortable and independent stay is provided: Full kitchen, washing and drying facilities, comfortable beds, Sky TV, full WiFi Broadband, land line for local calls etc. There is a heat pump in the living area and panel heaters in the generous bedrooms.
In true Garden City style, the landscaping creates an individual point of difference that you are unlikely to experience anywhere else. If you’re wondering about her name, she is Aphrodite, a fountain of joy, beauty and love.
For larger groups, this property is affiliated with the adjoining house (Maison du Ciel, Bookabach #35473) and, via a garden gate, a third property (Maison Rouge, Bookabach #33579). So it is possible for larger groups to stay in close proximity, yet maintain privacy when required.
Note that Master Bed 1 can be either joined to make a King double or split into two King single beds - let me know your preference.
The neighbourhood is quiet, but not far from the restaurants and cafes at the northern end of Stanmore Road. Other local facilities include a nearby supermarket, bus routes and Richmond Playground. A little further afield lies the Wilding Park Tennis centre and The Palms Shopping Mall.
There is off-street parking for one car in front of the single garage (remote entry available). Inside is naturally warm and spacious. Double glazing adds to this warmth and adds to the peaceful ambience of the locale.

This stay is easy, comfortable, has everything you need to stay including full kitchen, washing machine etc. it’s cozy, warm, private and is located in a safe area close to a supermarket and restaurants - host are fabulous too!
This is a fabulous property, quiet, super clean, comfortable and well appointed with everything needed for a lovely stay. The host is very communicative. The flat is only 8-10 minutes from the arts center, gardens, and fabulous restaurants. There is also a grocery store, cafes and other restaurants nearby. We would absolutely return for another stay.
We enjoyed the beautiful accommodations especially the quiet location and easy access to the Avonside River Park area. All the amenities were as listed and all in excellent condition.
Great place! It exudes charm. The layout was beautifully functional. It felt open with all the windows, yet private. The host provided all needed amenities and communication was easy.
We had a lovely stay. It was peaceful and relaxing. The house was clean, beautifuly presented and had everything we needed for an extended stay. We loved that we could walk to New World and to the bus stop. We would absolutely stay again.
Lovely location in very quiet residential area. About a 15 minute drive to downtown and about 21 minutes to the airport. A nice grocery store within easy walking distance. We took an Uber to downtown and it was less than 15.00. Beds were very comfortable and and the kitchen had everything you would need. Nice outdoor seating area and comfy couches to unwind and relax in the evening.
Host was very responsive during our communications. House was spotless! Beds super comfortable. Unfortunately the dry was not working, but I assume she will have it fixed for the next guest.

We had a wonderful stay at this bach in Christchurch. The place was clean, cozy, and very well maintained, making it feel instantly welcoming.
The location is excellent—close to supermarkets and a great selection of restaurants, which made everything so convenient. The bach was well stocked and thoughtfully set up, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Easily one of the best accommodations we stayed at in New Zealand. Highly recommended, and we would happily stay here again.
