Enter a secluded world of comfort, hidden from the hustle and bustle
of a city. Our Swiss-Kiwi Retreat is an idyllic property with warm and
friendly hosts.
For your convenience, there's a fish and chips takeaway at a grocery store
and a great restaurant on the main road.
Bethlehem and Omokoroa are the closest towns to our place, 10 min away and Tauranga 20 min. Our Retreat is a getaway for Coromandel, Auckland,
Rotorua and Taupo.
There is also a fantastic vortex hydromassage spa pool on the property. Which can be booked for $10 per person, paid by arrival. We have three Cats—Ralph, our shy 13 years old cat, and Babe, a lovely mature lady; and Lilly, a young, friendly girl.
We have got Kiwifruit and Avocado orchards nearby, and our neighbours have horses, sheep and cows.

Quiet retreat
A perfect place to stay when needing some quiet and peace in busy Tauranga. We loved visiting whanau and then coming back to such a clean, tasteful bach with everything you could possibly wish for- food, toiletries, spa, linen, welcoming hosts.

The most incredible spa getaway
Stayed in the wonderful Swiss-Kiwi retreat on new year eve - after a scary 2 hour torrential rain drive from Auckland airport, my partner and I arrived to a wonderful welcome from our lovely hosts who took us straight to the incredible hot tub to relax and unwind after the drive. Thank you for being so wonderfully welcoming. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway

Perfect in every way
Everything was just perfect. The host is very friendly and we enjoyed the hospitality and the conversations. The location was fit to purpose as we were after some relaxation time away from Auckland busy traffic and we were not disappointed. Monika and Rolf have been very helpful with "things to do" and resturents recommendations.

A Perfect Rural Escape
We thoroughly enjoyed our month long stay at the Chalet, the property is spotless and has everything you need for a long or short stay. Monika and Rolf welcomed us upon arrival and were available every day should we have needed assistance. The location is rural, perfect starry nights and Oh so quiet. An excellent country escape, a convenient location to explore The Bay of Plenty with very good golfing within 20 minutes! We would definitely return should our next adventure take us back to NZ.

B&B Kiwi Swiss Retreat
Beautiful place, lovely hosts who are always there to assist. Spa pool was amazing, especially on a night where the stars fill the sky. Fresh home made bread, jams and yogurt. Peace and quiet. Country pace close to city amenities
The property is situated in beautiful rural surroundings with Omokoroa Beach a 5-10 min drive away, and Tauranga city 15 min away. The hosts are lovely, fresh bread and home made spreads provided on arrival!
The chicken is very friendly, the cat is more of a cat; friendly when it wants pats.
Both cabins are close to each other and the main house, yet I did not have any noise from either dwelling, though I had been looking for a bit more seclusion for the intended purpose of my trip. Regardless, the hosts and location more than made up for my misunderstanding of the venue, and the spa...oh the spa!!! Beautiful to soak under the stars, even when it started to rain.

A perfect Swiss-Kiwi Christmas
Monika and Rolf were extremely welcoming and kind hosts and could not do enough for us. The cabin is very comfortable, the setting is beautiful and the personal touches made it even more special.
