Great communication from this generous host. The home is really perfectly laid out for a group. Deer grazing in the back, groundhogs, rabbits ... all was great.
My family had a wonderful vacation at Two Pines! The house was clean, nicely furnished and the beds are comfortable. Great location close to Trout Pond and easy biking distance to the pool. Check in was super easy and the kitchen had everything we needed. The deck was perfect for relaxing in the trees!
My family of 6 had a wonderful time even though The Lake wasn’t available bc of covid we had absolutely no issues finding things to do. We fished at the little pond down the street, biked and walked the clean happy community and were with in minutes drive time of Kalahari(we did not go though) any trail, lake or Pocono family fun spot. We will definitely be renting again in the winter for skiing fun.

Disliked: Communication
Extra charges, bad smells and noise
We were disappointed to be hit up with “linen service” charges at the very last minute. For $50 we were provided with 5 bath towels, wash cloths and hand towels that looked like rags. The whole place smelled like mildew and sewer, and the nearby construction and tree trimming sounds made it like vacationing in a saw mill. We called for a broom and toilet paper and we’re treated rudely by the property manager. “This is not a hotel…”. Batteries dead in remotes. Grass not cut. Fire pit overflowing with ashes. Nothing to clean it with. Forget it!

Deborah, I'm sorry you weren't happier with your stay.
Our fees are clearly defined in the listing, the details of which we ask all renters to review in full prior to booking. Our linen fee, which is nominal, includes towels and bedding for each registered guest and covers what our cleaners charge for laundry. We prefer, rather than lumping this in with our standard cleaning fee for all bookings, to give our guests the option to reduce fees if desired by bringing their own linens.
We do provide what has always appeared to be a reasonable amount of consumable products for most guests. I'm sorry your group went through the toilet paper so quickly. Unfortunately, it's just not feasible to drop in grocery supplies, and I think it's reasonable to assign that as a guest's responsibility. Many rentals do not provide any consumable products at all. Thankfully, even though outside our typical practice, our cleaner was available to bring everything you requested within an hour.
We have plenty of batteries on site to replace anything that's gone dead. I'm sorry you didn't reach out to ask about this. It seems there were some issues with communication. And as for the tree trimming sounds within the community, unfortunately, that's not something I can control.
We were happy with our stay at Two Pines Camp.
The communication with the property manager was great!
There was a few things that I would like to mention that may be improved. The house did have AC unit in the living room and worked well for that area. The master bedroom did not have a unit, and if the door was kept closed, got pretty warm.
The other thing was, no broom was in the house to clean the dining room floor. Lastly, there was pet hair on the carpets, which we understand the house is a pet friendly house.
With all that said, we still enjoyed our stay at the house and Lake Naomi.
