Idyllic summer getaway - The Pinnacle Lodge

Fully furnished rustic lodge with plenty of space for families or groups to enjoy.

Just a couple of minutes drive from "the Junction" in Ohakune. A charming town offering you a smorgasbord of entertainment for your summer getaway- from day time adventures to nightlife, restaurants and bars.

In summer Ohakune is a fantastic base for visitors wanting to experience the many outdoor activities, whether mountain biking, fishing, hunting, canoeing, horse riding, or tramping on some of the mountain treks in the Whanganui and Tongariro national parks. During winter, this is the perfect base for a ski holiday.

Pinnacles is an operating ski club with a "ski in ski out" lodge on Whakapapa and this lodge in Ohakune.  To ensure member's get priority, we are unable to rent the lodge out over winter weekends. To find out more about our club or joining - please visit https://pinnacleskiclub.co.nz.

Stunning Location

Amazing Location! We had a get together here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We just wish we had more time to explore the area. It’s exceptionally beautiful in early morning! Diana is an excellent communicator and was very helpful through out the booking process. Highly recommend this listing for a big group!

Spacious and well equiped house

We were a group of four families with three generations, and found the place very spacious for everyone. The kitchen is big and opens to the dining area and the lounge so comfortable to room our whole group. There is ensuite for each of the five bedrooms so very handy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and thanks to the host for having us.

Amazing cottage for a large group.

Amazing cottage for a large group. Big lounges, large, fully equipped kitchen, separate bathrooms with each bunk room, kids had a lot of space 2 play. Lovely views from the balcony. Sarah was kind 2 leave eggs / butter etc for our stay, a nice touch. Clear instructions were provided on how 2 operate equipment, where 2 find things in the house (vacuum cleaners, rubbish bags, main switch, etc). I would highly recommend & would go back again.
