This was a small, rather rustic spot, but I was impressed with how much thought had been put in to everything I needed for my stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the kitchenette had so many useful things. I only used the bus while on the island and the nearest bus stop is less than a five minute walk. I’d absolutely stay here again.

Thanks Jo Ellyn! We're so glad you enjoyed our little place. We love it for all the same reasons, and stay there ourselves often - which is why it's all so comfortable and carefully thought-out :) We'd love to have you back any time!
Thought it was expensive for what it was. But clean and tidy.
With no tourist at present (COVID-19) would be good if they reduced the price so locals could afford to stay.

Hi Paul, this is always a difficult criticism to answer. I can only say that we set our rates according to those being charged by other similar properties in the location, and also according to what it costs us to run the property. I'd be very surprised if you were able to find anything else in the area, with all facilities, close to public transport and 5 minutes from one of the best beaches on the island, for less. Presumably if you could have, you would have booked there instead. I hope you had a lovely stay anyway! Kate
We loved every aspect of it and even wanted to extend our stay for one more night but unfortunately it was already booked. Kate was prompt at replying our messages, kind, friendly and helpful. We would love to be back, thanks Kate!
it was awesome, had everything we needed, just a bit smaller than I first thought it would be.

So glad you enjoyed your stay! Yes, it is very compact, isn't it? We try to convey that but it's quite hard to portray it accurately. I hope you found it a pleasant place to stay, nonetheless!
Thanks heaps, we really enjoyed our time at this property. Surrounded by trees and birds, but also only a short walk from the bus stop. Beautiful and convenient!

Thanks for your kind words! We were delighted to have you at our place and we hope you'll return sometime.
Awesome location. Slightly smaller than I was expecting but still plenty of space for 2. Great facilities, even including games and DVD’s! Perfect bach for a young, adventurous couple.
A well setup studio in amongst the native bush, fine for a couple or single person who are able to negotiate the track. A tui greeted us when we arrived. Short walk to Palm beach.
A lovely, tidy little sleep-out in the bush! We mistakenly thought we could drive down the driveway to unload our car of camera gear but don't do it! There's a hump in the driveway that scrapes the bottom of the car, but it was fine - we ended up carrying everything down to the room. The path aside from it being a little narrow, was easy to navigate, even in the dark and it wasn't far to go at all.
I loved that there was shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom as I had forgotten to pack ours. The coffee making facilities looked good too but we didn't use it as we were too tired and went to bed soon after arriving!
This is perfect accommodation if you're looking for somewhere clean and comfy to sleep for the night!
Thanks for having us :)

So pleased you enjoyed your stay! And sorry about the bump in the driveway - it's fine when approached from some angles and not from others, and I'll amend our instructions to note that. Hope you can make it back again sometime when you can relax and enjoy the nearby beach and cafes, but happy we were able to provide you with a good base for your working visit!
A nice, calm, intimate stay on Waiheke. Easy checkin process and great location within walking distance to the beach. Mahalo, Kate.
