Maruia Springs Cozy Cottage
A cozy Lockwood cottage located in Springs Junction backing onto a public domain that has a walk around the river and tennis courts. Surroundings have native forests and beautiful Woodpigeons and Tui’s can often be seen. Located near Lake Daniels walkway which is a great family walk and near the start of the St James walkway.
Maruia Hot Springs a recently renovated Natural Hot Springs resort is located only 13km away, a great place for families wanting to use the hot springs.
Mountain bike riding and other activities are accessible in Reefton located 30 minutes away. Eating options are limited so bring your own or head to Reefton to the pub! Help yourself to any herbs in the garden or fruit on the trees.
Special conditions:
Pets allowed upon prior approval, may incur an extra cleaning fee. Smoking allowed outside only, please remove your shoes inside. Families are welcome please return toys and books as they are found, and clean highchair etc...

Awesome stay in Springs Junction
Kim’s cottage was a cozy cottage right in the heart of Lewis Pass. Kim was super responsive and very helpful. Kim’s place was perfect for our 3 day stay. It had a good functional kitchen, with ample space for me and my husband. It had a few nice outdoor places to sit for a cup of tea, and nice views of the mountains. It was clean and well provided with linens and towels and the basics to shower and do laundry. I would highly recommend Kim’s place in Springs Junction.

Great little spot
This was a great stop for the night on our way through. Warm and well-appointed house. Right off highway but still quiet. Worked out really well for us and would be a good base for exploring the area.

Heading to Golden Bay
On our trip to Golden Bay we had a dip in the Maruia Springs pools and then stopped at this property for the night. Property had plenty of room and a good heat pump. The house had all the stuff you would expect and the wifi was a great bonus.

Comfortable and relaxing
Great place to spend time with friends for the weekend. Heat pump plus fireplace, comfortable beds and good facilities. Easy check-in process with friendly host. Nice and close to Lewis Pass and Maruia hot springs!

Gorgeous little cottage
What a beautiful and picturesque cottage! Very comfortable and perfect size for a cozy and quiet getaway. Centrally located for travel along the west and north coasts and within reasonable driving distance from Christchurch. Cottage was well appointed with special little treats very much appreciated! Fire kept us toasty with lots of wood and hot water in the shower. Great communication as well as suggestions for the surrounding area. A lovely retreat!
