About this property

Modern bach in secluded native bush

This family owned bach is located in Blandswood Village at the base of Little Mt Peel. This little slice of paradise has something for everyone - the bach is directly adjacent to the DOC managed Peel Forest Conservation Park which offers walks from 5 minutes duration to a full day mission to the top of Big Mt Peel.

If you feel like just taking it easy this is also the perfect location no matter the season. A warm log fire will keep you warm in winter or sit on the deck in summer and watch the abundant bird life swoop through the clearing in front of the bach.

The home is easy to access with plentiful parking spaces for multiple vehicles right outside.

The home is clean and modern with three bedrooms. The fully equipped kitchen has a microwave and dishwasher. There is a bathroom with a shower, a separate toilet and an additional toilet off the master bedroom. The entire house is double glazed and it has a log burner for comfort in the cooler months. Tea and coffee facilities are provided. Quality towels and bed linen are provided for all guests. Cleaning is included after your stay.

The bach boasts multiple board games, puzzles and interesting books for guests to enjoy. Outdoor living is completed with a BBQ and outdoor furniture. Tennis racquets are also available for guests to use.

The town of Peel Forest itself sits just 2.5km away. You can head there to see the local trophy stags grazing in the oak forests, play some tennis or duck in to the local cafe/bar. A little further afield is the town of Geraldine, famed for it's local food scene and laid-back atmosphere.

Please note that in the spirit of relaxing and unwinding, the bach does not have an internet connection or TV.

No matter the season or occasion, this is the perfect place to get away from it all!
