Affordable, simple, but not quite as advertised

First: describing this place as a "house" felt a little deceptive to us.This unit is the first floor of a large house, not a freestanding house - finding strict quiet hours on a "house" listing was a surprise.Pros:- Very affordable!- Quiet neighborhood- Lots of beds for a large party- Waterfall showers!- Convenient selection of dishes and utensilsCons:- Quiet hours starting at 10- Not enough furniture for a large group to hang out- Thin walls between many bedrooms- No temperature control?- Largest bedroom only accessible by passing through shared entryway, no lock to prevent upstairs tenants from entering unit.- Shower caddy awkwardly placed - limits range of motion for your armsOverall, we had a good experience, and would recommend this place to a budget conscious traveler.

Thanks for your review but we feel like the only thing you concern the most is our restriction “keep quiet after 10pm”. We have 2 separate units so we need that restriction to make the other guests feel comfortable when they are staying at our place. We also have the key and the lock for you to lock each room from your unit as well. It’s actually a house with 2 separately units. Thanks for your staying anyway. Wish you all the best.

Great spot for budget travel. We had 6 of us and fit very comfortable. It isn’t a private home as the rental is the downstairs and the hosts live upstairs but the only shared space is the front entry near the back room. Other than that you have your own entrance, kitchen, bathrooms and living room. Location was good as you are within a mile walk to multiple parks and even a small local splash pad. We also walked to breakfast and dinner within a mile walk through a quiet neighborhood. It’s a 20 cab fare from the port or 16 uber roughly. It’s not the Ritz but for a quick stay or just a place to lay your head it works great. We had three kids so we did have to be careful of the noise but the owners were very nice and communicated amazingly. Internet worked well and kitchen had everything we needed.
