Convenient to Osaki Train Station - Nice Area

The space is compact but had everything we needed—except for a dryer to dry our clothes after washing. The location is fantastic! It’s close to 7-Eleven, Ōsaki train station, Lawson convenience store, a laundromat, a cozy little bar next door, and plenty of restaurants. Super convenient and in a clean, quiet neighborhood.Overall, we had a great stay, though clearer instructions for turning on the water heater would’ve helped—especially since we arrived around midnight and had to message the host about the hot water. The air conditioning and heater work really well (just note the controls are in Japanese, so having Google Translate handy is a plus).The mattresses could use a bit more padding—you can feel the springs—but for the price, it’s definitely a good value.

Would not do this again

We found mold in the bathroom. The floor of the bathroom sank because of the water damage. The place doesn’t get enough air in higher humidities so all of that gets trapped causing damage. Kitchen was dirty and AC was dusty. The door’s lock had worn pins so it was a nightmare to unlock and lock, wasted so much time trying to figure it out. What this property doesn’t tell you is that they can rent any room in the building. There’s ONE photo of a blue tiled bathroom and it’s probably by far the worst photo of the property; well, that’s the room they gave us. The bathroom made me want to gag when I looked at it. The step into the bathroom is almost as tall as a conditioner pump bottle which was frightening as an able-bodied adult, let alone my elderly mother. The only benefits were that the building was conveniently located to the station and they have a gas stove. I wish I hadn’t paid as much. The property and Vrbo was useless when complaints were raised.
