Relax in style at the harbour end of Manning Street with a vista of Kiama’s grand historic buildings and with water views through the majestic Norfolk Pines. The apartment is ideal for families or 3 couples. With a well equipped gourmet kitchen, laundry, 2 bathrooms and lift access you will have everything you need for a luxurious short or long stay.
You won’t need your car after you leave it in the secure carpark downstairs. Walk 5 minutes to the beach, shops or the famous Kiama Blowhole. There are a multitude of excellent café and restaurant options within a very short walk including the world class Parfait Patisserie and Slow Dough bakery next door. For those with young kids, there are 5 playgrounds within 10 minutes walk in picturesque locations (for the parents).
If you want to explore the area, venture out to the excellent Stoic Brewery just down the road in Gerringong or visit some of the local wineries; we've even curated a tour for you! For the more adventurous, Jamberoo Action Park is a less than 20 minutes drive and Illawara Fly Treetop Adventures 30 minutes. The beautiful Minamurra falls walk and Rainforest centre is also only 20 minutes away.
For those unfamiliar with the area, the stunning South Coast is close enough to Sydney for an easy weekend away but feels worlds apart. Kiama is undoubtably the ideal town to base yourself and is only 90 minutes by car. Stop on the way at the Southern Gateway Centre for coffee, gelato or lunch and panoramic coastal views or take the coast road over the spectacular Sea Cliff Bridge and have lunch in one of Australia's greatest 'beer gardens' at The Scarborough Hotel.
If you are flying in to Sydney or prefer not to drive, Black Beach, Red Wine is in the perfect location to catch the direct train from Central Station. It is a little known but delightful 2 hour and 20 minute trip through the Royal National Park and drops you in central Kiama. The train station is only 4 minutes walk from the apartment. From Sydney International Airport, it is a 3 minute train ride to Wolli Creek to catch the same "South Coast Line" train (2 hours to Kiama).

Great property in a central location. Spacious and clean for our family of 5. Only small issue is the third bedroom did not have aircon and the fan was not quite up to the job. Highly recommended though. Comfy beds and lots of games for the kids.
Black Beach, Red Wine, Kiama, was awesome. Super comfortable for 5 and easy check-in and check-out. Kiama itself is an idyllic beach community and the beaches were great. Highly recommend for an easy 2-hour train ride getaway from Sydney. Thanks so much. Al

Great property in a great location with a great host - do yourself a favour and select this apartment. Close to everything with the biggest TV you'll find on the south coast. We had a relaxing break.
We have had the most wonderful time. Thanks to Brenda - everything was amazing and we could not say anything but positive things and feel very blessed to be able to have those few nights away to my favourite place to share it with my children who have never been there before.
We absolutely loved this property. I was there with my wife, 2 young kids, & brother and his wife. The location is perfect with easy walking access to town, beaches and blow hole. The house was amazing, it was set up to make sure it catered for all ages with toys, games, cooking accessories. The attention to detail in this regard was amazing and flowed through to the enitre house. We loved it and couldnt reccomend it enough. We will be back for sure.
Great location on Manning Street in new secure building with ground level parking. Apartment has high quality fixtures and fittings including ducted air con and remote control blinds complimented by fluffy heritage bed linen and towels. Large selection of children’s toys and books. Luxurious large screen Samsung frame tv and PS5.
Black Beach, Red Wine Penthouse was simply perfect for our recent family getaway in Kiama.Every aspect of the apartment could not have been better! All the important boxes were ticked but lots of terrific small touches too.Firstly, the location is fantastic. Apartment was only steps away from loads of terrific cafes and restaurants and even though you're in the middle of the action - it was still quiet and peaceful on the top floor.The apartment is only a few minutes walk to Blow Hole Point and the ocean rock pool - recommend a morning swim followed by brekkie "Diggies". Also walking distance to a few playgrounds - if you need it.The apartment itself is also excellent, very spacious and beautifully presented. Although we did a small family trip - bedroom layout would also suit a group of friends or extended family group.Definite luxury furnishings but also very family-friendly. They supplied high chairs/cot and boxes of toys and colouring-in things for the kids. Also has an oversized car space and elevator access - very useful when loaded with luggage.The hosts were fantastic - clear easy check-in instructions and available for any issues. Also, really nice touch with some delicious sourdough from the bakery downstairs and a bottle of bubbles in the fridge as a welcome gift.We will definitely be back!
