The host was the sweetest. We loved how the property was a little ways off the road. Came to celebrate birthdays and it was great to get to Carowinds and to Charlotte!

Hidden Gem

Only minutes away from the quaint town of Waxhaw, this house is the perfect location for a weekend getaway. We enjoyed coffee in the (dining) sunroom, looking out at the trees and the crick. Very clean and well appointed.

Great country getaway

Absolutely awesome,we couldn’t have asked for more. Home was clean and in a safe area, plenty of room for family to visit , we are already planning our next trip. Hostess was amazing! Attentive and helpful, also prepared with all sorts of treats! Best place so far by far!

Communication with hostess was remarkable. The house was spotless. Each room was tastefully decorated….even had seasonal touches. DETAILS!!! So many nice touches like free snacks in the kitchen and even a treat bowl for our pet. Ample supplies were supplied throughout the entire house. Highly recommended and appreciated. We definitely shall return.

Awesomeeee

A very Wonderful stay. Houses beautiful, very spacious and in a wonderful lot with lots of trees and peacefulness. We saw many deer while sitting on the back porch. The house is extremely clean and has everything you need. We recommend this very highly and appreciated the kindness from the owner from everything from communication to wishing us a very wonderful weekend and making sure we had everything we needed

Quick get away

My mom and I came to Charlotte for a concert and it was last minute so I had to bring my fur baby. Everything was clean nice and quiet. My fur baby slept like a rock which is normally not the case when I travel. Definitely would recommend.

Host was there when you needed her. Property was a little hard to locate at first. But once she sent the text the fourth Property was easy to find. Shops are really close. 30 mins outside of Charlotte.

Perfect Home for a Waxhaw Visit!

This 3 bedroom home was perfect for our trip to NC to visit family! About 10 min from downtown Waxhaw, the house was clean, comfortable, and convenient. The host Jennifer was responsive and respectful, and the home had many thoughtful amenities (e.g. snacks, extra chairs/towels/blankets, games, toiletries). We were impressed by how well stocked the dishes/appliances were in the kitchen. It was an overall great experience (my partner used the phrase "hidden gem")! We especially loved the electric fireplace heater in the master bedroom and watching the neighboring cows from the dining room's large windows while drinking our morning coffeeOne note: Google Maps will tell you to turn early (into different driveway), however, the correct driveway is well labeled with the address number so make sure to look for the provided address number before turning into the driveway.

Four day stay

Rented to be close to wedding venue. Home was as expected inside and worked well for elderly. Found that it had most all necessities needed. Kitchen is quite small, but is laid out well. Located on wooded lot in tranquil setting. There was the smell of manure from nearby farms or fertilized fields. Was not noticeable inside home and growing up in a rural setting, wasn’t too big of a nuisance for me. “Some people just don’t have a tolerance for the fragrance of nature” - From movie Road House

This place was so nice. It was a quiet setting and so relaxing. It had lots of games for the family, fun snacks and coffee and also all the spices and little extras you need. We took walks up the lane and just enjoyed it. Great location and the host was great at communicating. This place holds a special place for her and they have done a great job with it. Will definitely stay here again when back in the area.
