We had an incredible stay! The home was spotless and impeccably maintained, making us feel comfortable and relaxed right from the start. The house was well-stocked with everything we needed, which made our weekend hassle-free. The location on the beach was absolutely perfect. Lovely home on the beach

We loved our stay at this beautiful home. The bright and cheerful artwork all over the house and vibrant colors made it a very relaxing place to stay. The view of the beach is amazing, and the corner location made it very easy for the kids to run in and out of the house. Lots of amenities and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook and grill. We look forward to renting this property again in the future.

Wonderful Getaway

The house and location was amazing. We had 6 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of space. Also the beach area was very nice and we were able to still social distance.

Family time

The location and view from this house were absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking out at the beach and water. The house was very nice and due to rain during our stay the pool table was a nice addition for entertainment. We had everything we needed and the owners were quick to respond to any question that we had prior to our visit. You won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic stay!

Awesome unobstructed views of the beach and the gulf from the spacious deck made the week for us, was easy to sit back and relax no matter what time of day. Clean and well maintained house, comfortable furniture, good amenities, plenty of room to spread out inside and out, spacious kitchen. Fishing in the surf just steps away. Had everything we look for in our summer beach house vacations, can't wait to go back!

Great house - great views!

My trip got cancelled by Beryl, so Walter allowed me to reschedule and gave me an extra stay to make up for it. I couldn't get the family back together but I came to have a quiet remote work few days. The house was lovely and I can't wait for my whole family to enjoy it for our rescheduled date. I loved the porches to sit and drink coffee and watch the waves.

AN EXCEPTIONAL BEACH EXPERIENCE

This house aptly called "The Artist View," lived up to its title in every way. The interior transports you to a small village in Spain or Italy...and the exterior...well, all of the beach views are stunning. My Family and I had a great time!

Great house and best location

We all had a great time in this beautiful beach house. We spent most of the time indoor because it was cold outside but everyone found different ways to have fun from board games, pool table and a media room with wide screen TV. Spacious living room as well with a great ocean view. Thanks to the owner.

Perfect Get Away

The location right on the beach was perfect. The house was exactly as presented; clean, well provisioned and equipped. The owners were so helpful with descriptions, suggestions, directions and information. They also were very responsive. Definitely want to use this one again.

This property was absolutely beautiful. Plenty of room and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook with. It is literally steps from the beach!! The lift was a great help with all the bags that we had for our week long stay. The owner was very responsive and made sure our needs were met. Would 100% stay here again!! Our family enjoyed it.

Spacious and comfortable

Our group had the very best time. The house is very spacious and beautiful - basically providing a home away from home but at the beach. We able to enjoy the beach, fish and take shelter from the elements. As a group, we caught three redfish including a 36" one - it was returned to the waters. We look forward to staying here for our annual trip for the years to come.

Perfect.

Rented this home for a family reunion. It was perfect. Beautiful inside and out. Beach view is amazing. The furniture is nice, kitchen is perfect. Well stocked for cooking and feeding a large group. The neighborhood is quiet. The fishing is the best in the Galveston/San Luis Pass area. This place is great for any occasion.

Fantastic Property! Highly recommended

We had a family gathering to celebrate my wife's bithday and had a wonderful time. The house is so inviting and comfortable for everyone. From the gameroom for the kids to the well equipped kitchen, our expectations were exceeded. Walter is very easy to work with and communicates well. Good times had by all

Weather was excellent , never seen the gulf so blue.We had a little sink plumbing problem but owner quickly got it fixed. Only draw back was we never figured out the TV system. Been help full to know we needed our home password to operate the system. Overall a pleasant trip.

Great location, lots of space

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had 7 adults and 2 kids and 2 dogs and we had lots of space for all of us. The large dining room table was nice for family meals. The kitchen enabled several of us to be in it at once cooking. The house is fully stocked with whatever you need. You can't beat the location as it's right on the beach and easy to walk to amd from the beach. The outside shower and cargo lift were very nice touches. The house was very clean when we got there. You won't be disappointed.

Great family beach house

Our family really enjoyed "An Artist's View" and the relaxed beach of Treasure Island. The house is beautiful and so extremely functional for families. We loved entertaining in the large kitchen, having space for all the kiddos, the updated amenities, and enjoying the great breeze on the deck. The pool table was a fun bonus as well! You really cannot find a better beachfront property in the area! You will not want to leave. In fact we booked our end of the summer return visit by day 3 of our vacation. Many thanks to Walter and his family for opening up their lovely home and their excellent customer service for their guests.

Views like no other!

An Artist's View was the perfect setting to celebrate my mother in law's 50th birthday. Our group of 14 included ages 88 to 3, and all had a wonderful time. The living area is open with beautiful views of the dunes and ocean. The walk-over is close by, and the beach was somewhat private. Shells and sand dollars collected! The decor and amenities in the house were perfect for us, and we can not wait to book another getaway at the Artist's View. Walter, the owner is wonderful and extremely helpful to answer all of our questions.

Perfect location

Overall had a great time. There was some damage to the house and holes in the wall upstairs in the game room from water damage because of a storm that came the week before. House had a musky smell because of that. There was nothing that could be done to fix in such a short time but I would stay again.
