Great place to unwind

This house is set-up as a destination stay so you can fully unwind from the comforts of this home. We most took advantage of all of out the outside deck area, the well equipped kitchen and the movie room. When we were cozing and playing games at the house, it's only a 0.7 mile walk to the community deck where we swam daily and brought our kayak (although there are ones there available for use). There was even firewood to make smores in the backyard pit. Would definitely stay again and recommend!

House not ready

The house was not ready for our party of 6. Bedding was not changed, bathrooms were left dirty, kitchen was very dirty, floors were dirty and paper goods were short. I provided documentation and photos to our contact Tiffany, who was apologetic but was apparently completely unaware of our booking and of the condition of the house. We had to buy some things to get by, launder the bedding and towels, clean the house and remake all the beds ourselves. She brought some paper goods and continued to apologize. Communication with decision makers has been difficult or non-existent, with no financial resolution for many days. In several other rentals with Evolve we have not had this experience.The property itself is OK, odd layout with the design of the home, but we knew that. Lake access is limited and disappointing. It was too hot to use the fire pit or outdoor amenities. We were glad to have a place to stay with air conditioning and entertainment and we made the best of it.

Beautiful unique home

Great home for friends/families. Large communal areas to gather. Nice up to date kitchen, bedrooms have bathrooms! Great pool table, awesome outdoor fire pit with Adirondack chairs. Great property. Right near Lake Gaston. We would definitely rent again!
