I love Akaroa. It is my getaway place when I need peace. I have stayed in several apartments in the same complex. Bruce apartment 31 has a wonderful outlook. Beds were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with essential crockery, pans etc. it was warm. The negatives were minimal although deep cleaning is needed. The carpets are threadbare in places. Overall it could do with a little care. The deposit taken for cleaning / breakages etc is not returned to you the same day of departure and entry to the property is 3 pm which is quite late. Overall I had a lovely stay in Akaroa.
