We had a lovely stay for 5 nights here. The home was very clean and comfortable and the kitchen was complete and all the necessary tools and pots/pans etc. were there. There is a great yard for pets and kids to play in. There is a small completely fenced in area for pets that need that restriction, but our dog managed well on the whole property. There is a sunroom which opens onto a nice deck with a grill (we didn't use).The lake is the prime draw, and it is clean and clear, about 500m across. It was perfect and calm for swimming and boating on the double kayak at the property. Fishing from the shore of the property my young kids caught about 5-10 fish a day with worms. There is a nice firepit outside for enjoying a campfire. The host Annick was incredibly responsive and helpful with our questions. Our family really enjoyed our stay and we would definitely like to return.

We stayed for 15 days in May, where the weather was still a comfortable cool. Amazing cottage with lots of windows and ceiling fans. Also, one of the few places that was spacious for a wheel chair/disabled folks. This is key, as there aren’t much places that cater for this. I’m not sure if this was intentional, but it worked well for me! Annick the host was very communicative, pleasant, willing to provide what we needed and respected our privacy. Her attention to details is well thought out. She had everything and even thought outside of the box. I would 110% recommend her cottage.

Peaceful, Well Equipped Cottage with Incredible Waterfront Access

We had a fantastic stay at this charming waterfront cottage. The space was spotless, spacious, and had everything we could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was impressively well stocked, the fire table was a cozy touch for evenings, and the dog run was a great bonus for our pup. It’s clearly a very pet friendly spot, which made it feel even more like home.The real standout was the waterfront. Crystal clear, calm, and perfect for swimming. We spent most of our days lounging by the water, soaking in the quiet and the views. The area is peaceful, with friendly but quiet neighbours, and the location is ideal. Just far enough from Ottawa or Gatineau to feel like a proper escape without being too remote. The host was helpful and quick to respond to any questions, and the place was easy to find with no issues at all. We’d highly recommend this place and are already talking about coming back.
