Our home is located in a typical Canadian residential property. Like many houses here, sound insulation between floors is not completely soundproof, so occasional daytime household sounds may be heard.
There may be light piano practice during reasonable daytime hours, especially during exam periods. We always try our best to be respectful and keep noise moderate.
If you are highly sensitive to sound or require a completely silent environment, our space may not be the best fit — but we are always happy to answer questions before you book.

Lovely holiday apartment in a beautiful residential area.We felt very comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful. We highly recommend the apartment.
We had a great stay! The place was very clean, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped, with a lovely garden to enjoy. It easily accommodated our family of three adults and one teenager. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. The location is excellent—close to parks and set in a quiet, family-oriented neighborhood. Free parking was also a big plus. Would definitely recommend!
We really enjoyed our time here and hope to return in the future. The host was very kind and responsive, and they handled any issues or requests quickly. The neighborhood was quiet and clean, which made it easy for us to relax. We loved the beautiful front garden and the many plants inside the house. The location was also great, with easy access to downtown Vancouver and convenient shopping options, including a Korean market, nearby.

While the property was clean and "modern," the bed in the first bedroom was impossible to sleep on. It was like sleeping on a concrete box spring it was so hard. The guest ended up sleeping on the sofa the entire stay. This "Serene and Cozy" location did not identify itself as a basement suite with no soundproofing insulation from above and therefore was definitely NOT "Serene." The constant all day noise from piano playing upstairs (rehearsing for a music competition) actually drove us out of our accommodation for an entire very wet, cold and rainy day because we couldn't handle the noise anymore. Young kids jumping on the floor didn't help either. Nor did the smoke alarm battery dying in the middle of the night and going off every 25 seconds in a location we could not access. It took almost an hour for the host to fix it.There was very limited cutlery (only one dinner knife) but dozens of chopsticks, one very heavily soiled frying pan we wouldn't use, limited selection of plates for dining on, no ice cube trays for making ice. Location was remote. You needed a car to go everywhere.
