Peaceful Weekend

The property is very comfortable in a relaxing location. The layout flowed well with lots of spots to enjoy the view and perfect weather. Very good air conditioning.

THE GOOD:The property is well located on the river, with daily duck visits being a highlight. It is less than a 10-minute drive from Tuggerah Westfield and local dining options. The beds are very comfortable, the master ensuite is excellent, and the coded front door is convenient. The gardens and pool area are well maintained.THE BAD:There was no internet access. After the third day, the air conditioning stopped working and the heater ran out of gas. The outdoor sliding door is difficult to operate due to damaged rollers. Guests were advised the front gate must remain open, and the lack of side gates raises safety concerns, making the property unsuitable for pets unless kept indoors. Several internal doors do not close properly, and the main bathroom door lock is broken and caused a minor injury.The agent advised the bond would be returned within 10 days; however, my bank confirmed it was held for 30 days. Access details were not provided until mid-morning on the day of arrival, resulting in unnecessary travel. We were incorrectly accused of carpet damage that was present on arrival. The managing agent became rude, unresponsive, and difficult to contact once issues arose, with delayed after-hours responses.THE UGLY:There was a significant cockroach infestation, with several needing removal each night. The lounges were dirty, with food under the cushions, indicating poor cleaning.

Unsafe not like photo horrible communication with agents.

Where to begin!! The day we got there the pool was green and all dirty they said it happend over night but coming from a family that own a pool it doesn’t just get dirty like this over night. The manager of the property started ignoring my calls but when I would call of another phone they would answer. The house was unsafe loose tiles all over the property. Garage had man holes everywhere I would never leave my child unsupervised ther and Ofcourse this wasn’t advertised online. I can go on for ages really. read reviews as much you can and be careful what you see online cos ours sure wasn’t the same.

Regarding the pool, it is regularly maintained, and the issue you mentioned was an unexpected and temporary situation that arose from the chlorinator malfunctioning. We addressed this issue promptly on the day of your arrival once identified and a pool service was conducted that day to rectify the chemical imbalance. The pool was safe and swimmable the following morning. We understand how important cleanliness is, and we always strive to keep the pool in the best condition. As for communication, our team work tirelessly to ensure we’re providing the best service possible. We value every guest and make every effort to respond quickly. At no point were any calls ignored. We also take safety and maintenance seriously. While we do conduct regular checks and upkeep, we’ve since completed an additional inspection of the property to ensure everything is safe and secure. During our routine departure inspection, we’ve noted some damages that were not present before your stay. We're currently reviewing our records and assessing the property to ensure everything is in proper condition for future guests. We’ll follow up with you directly to discuss any necessary steps. Again, we are sorry to hear that your experience was not as expected.
