This place could be awesome! Great bones just needs some tender loving care! Lots of space, pool table, ping pong, air hockey. We had a great time! Looks like maybe hadn’t had anyone there in a while as there were dead bugs and needed to be swept up! We did enjoy our stay!
Location and proximity to my family that resides in Siler City was perfect for my family of 8.

Great for large groups!
We had about 11 people in our group and it was great for late night movies and playing games in the dark! Rooms are pretty comfy and showers work well:)
Property suitable for our family Thanksgiving gathering. Place is a wonderful former horse farm, but in a bit of disrepair. Examples include master bath shower non-functional (handles snapped off), some broken furniture (loveseat support broken), awning deployed but in shreds, missing/broken step down from deck to back yard. There are still no tips on the pool cues, but we improvised. Needs some landscape tripping and brush-hogging in the pastures but otherwise great remote country location (great star gazing location) that worked for our pretty laid-back family. No issues with host actions.
We did not have any wash cloths , the upstairs patio door doesnt lock, their is a lock on front door doesn't allow handle to move , the garage door doesn't close all the way. Grass needed to be mowed. Even with the minor inconveniences the over all stat was great we enjoyed the stay just minor tweaking needed , we bought wash cloths and left a few to help out
The property is beautiful! There was plenty of bed space, and the common areas are spacious and lovely. However, the amenities were sparse - we actually went to a thrift shop and bought more cooking spoons, serving bowls, a ladle, hand towels, etc. to leave on site. There are only two tiny knives, which made meal preparation challenging. We couldn't find a knife block, so we left that need unmet. Aside from that, it was a great site.

Could be beautiful
Ok.. when it says secluded it is true. Its a 40 min drive to just about anything. This wasnt the issue. The outside of property itself looks very neglected but has alot of potential. The inside is nice but needs more lights and some updating. That said... overall it was clean, but could have been way cleaner. There was plenty of space for people just not much to do. I would highly suggest calling an exterminator company to help with the millipeds and someone else to maintain the exterior. Overall it was a place to get out of the heat and sleep.
This is a very odd patchwork of a house. Much work has been done to retro fit it into a 4 bedroom. 19 people would have little privacy. Lighter problems like there are only 5 coffee cups, all the darts broken and the pool cues not having felt tips to much less fun ones like the light above the sink dramatically burning out, the drier exhaust completely clogged, and the bbeds being uncomfortable were not fun. But its in a seculed spot and it didnt cost too much..
Overall this house checked a bunch of good boxes for what our group needed. The views were peaceful and spectacular. The house was clean and ready for our group. Had a couple of questions, but manager was quick to answer and was helpful.Space was very good to accommodate sleep space for our group. Kitchen had plenty of cooking space. Plenty of bedding which helped a few kids that needed the help. The washer/dryer was a great bonus. Kids really loved the ping-pong, foosball, and air hockey tables.I do suggest that since the house can hold so many, it needs more plates, silverware, cookware to accommodate a larger group. Also, a regular coffee pot would be a good addition. Front door took a minute to learn the right way to unlock it the first time. It was easy after the first time. Suggest a second key for the house.Again, this house checked a bunch of good boxes for our group. If the opportunity presented itself again I would 100% reserve this space.

Hazardous Christmas
While the pictures look amazing, don't be fooled. We were unable to get the key out of the lockbox, thankfully My daughter went around and found an unlocked door. Between the mice, dead bugs everywhere and overall everything filthy this. We spent the first 2 hours doing nothing but cleaning on Christmas day. And that was mostly just the kitchen. A personal hell. My family flew in from Seattle, my mom drove up from Winston. And my sister and her family drove up from Georgia. We asked if the manger had any other properties that we could move to. He never answered. We told him why and his solution. Was to come in and vacuum. Never mention the mice or offering to sterilize the place. Maybe he would have After he was done vacuuming but After a while, I asked him to leave because he was now on our family time. A blaring alarm went off to manager half way through our stay. Manager and owner had no clue that it had an alarm or how to turn it off. When we asked how to operate the fireplace, the manager didn't know how. There was no silverware and not enough plates. Lack of many items needed to cook for a group of 11. The so called coffee area existed of a hot water pot and Expresso machine and no coffee pot. Also it looked like it have not been cleaned in a long time. We bought plastic totes to keep our food sealed. And cleaned every day... Non stop.. please please correct these issues before renting it out again. Renters beware
