While the place was generally pleasant and comfortable, we only discovered the evening of our first day there that there was no hot water. After hours support was very helpful and we managed to find the gas supply and get it turned on, but it would have been nice to have this information in the site-specific instructions, to avoid the panic and the worry. We also weren't able to get the heat pump to work, so our stay was quite chilly and required the use of a lot of extra blankets. The previous tenants left their trash outside the door (reasonable) but it wasn't picked up or dealt with, so an animal got into it our first night there and there was rubbish strewn all over for the rest of our stay, which wasn't the best. Overall, for over 400 a night, I would have expected more.

Hi there, Thank you for your review and for sharing your experience. We're sorry for the issues you encountered during your stay, particularly with the hot water and the confusion this caused on your first evening. We appreciate your patience while our after-hours team assisted, and we've since been in touch to resolve this matter. We're also sorry to hear the property felt chilly during your stay. While the heat pump is operational, we understand it can be frustrating if it's not straightforward to use. We appreciate your feedback regarding the rubbish outside and will ensure this is reviewed. Thank you again for your comments, as they help us improve the guest experience. Best regards, Bachcare Reputation and Resolutions Team
