The cottage was beautiful and even better than in the photos!! We enjoyed the living room, all seasons porch, and outdoor areas. Would definitely stay again!
The house is spacious and has so many comfortable seating areas. The kitchen was better equipped than my own house. Check-in and out was very easy. We enjoyed the Lake Ann area nearby.
Very relaxing. The property and the house are fantastic. It's a very serene place to be. Everyone in the group really enjoyed the property! Hopefully we'll book this place again in the future.
This was a clean and cozy home to spend our girls weekend in. The setting and the home were stunning. Our group of friends had the best time and the home was perfect. All amenities are as described and provided even more. The property was beautiful during this fall season and we were able to enjoy seeing the wildlife. This is a house is not to be missed and we already plan on returning.
Such a cozy location with a beautiful view! A perfect place for a girls weekend to have a cozy fire and coffee on the porch in the morning. Theresa was very helpful with accommodations and easy to reach out to if needed. Would highly recommend!
We had an absolute wonderful stay here for Memorial weekend. There was plenty of space for the 8 people staying at the house as we all had our own rooms and space for privacy. Having a property where we could play yard games and be outside a lot is always a plus for us and this property did not disappoint in that regard! Watching the birds, especially the nesting cranes, in the mornings and afternoons was a delight and would certainly stay again just to have a cup of coffee off that back porch again! Teresa was a wonderful host and answered any questions we had immediately, and her husband showed up when we had problems with the grill. Wonderful hosts and beautiful place to get away for the weekend!
Plenty of room for our family of 7 - everyone could have their own space when they wanted, a big deal with older kids.
And that pond out back was a winner for peaceful morning vibes with a cup of coffee and for the younger ones to muck about around during the day.
The owners are super friendly and genuine, making sure we were sorted and comfortable.
There’s a fire pit that we took advantage of a few nights, a real treat to sit around with the stars up above.
The internet is a bit slow and phone service is touch and go, but it was nice to kind of force a bit of a digital detox on the teens and ourselves.
We’re booking it for next summer too.
My family (8 of us) stayed here for a week & everything was great. The house was clean & there was plenty of room for all of us. Not only space to gather together, but space to separate as well.
There are lots of amenities and plenty of provided appliances & kitchenware to be able to cook meals all week, including gas & charcoal grills on the porch.
The place is very private with a view of some woods & a pond. There is a big back porch with lots of chairs plus a large hammock in the trees in the back to chill in & enjoy the beautiful & peaceful scenery from, which was our favorite part. The nearby pond is inaccessible & not swimmable or fishable but does bring in lots of wildlife to watch. We saw & heard a pair of eagles flying around & perching in the trees near the pond all week. Lots of other birds & wildlife too including a couple deer who visited early in the morning. There's even a set of binoculars to help take in the wild life.
There is a large covered pavillion in the back as well with tables & chairs and a fire pit for outdoor entertaining. Plenty of fallen trees and tree branches to collect to build a fire. There is also enough open green space in back to play outdoor games. There's even a storage chest with some yard games, balls, & a volleyball net. The basement has a foosball table & is stocked with lots of board games & books.
All in all we enjoyed every bit of the house and property & would definitely rent here again.
Best Ive stayed at and Ive stayed at a lot! By far the cleanest. The view is amazing. Love having no neighbors! The 3 rooms and 3 bathrooms fit our family and friends great! Love the screened in porch and the porch outside to sit in the mornings! Will be coming again!
My extended family, including kids, stayed at this cottage while visiting Northern MI for an extended weekend. It’s such a charming home that allows you to settle in or visit the variety of destinations just a short drive away. This cottage is kept clean and has everything one may need. It’s spacious and easily fit 6 adults with 4 young kids. The property is beautiful, as it sits nestled in the woods with a view out towards a pond in the back. This is our second time staying here. Would certainly recommend to any visitors wanting to visit the Leelanau or Sleeping Bear Region.
Just outstanding with everything necessary for a great stay! Wonderful amount of space for our three couples and such a serene setting! Close to all the wonderful sites in the area we wanted to enjoy. We all had a great time!
Outstanding accommodations in a beautiful setting. Everything about the property is spectacular! We are hoping to return next year for a longer stay. Both the check-in and check-out processes were fast and simple. The cottage was well stocked and very comfortable.
We stayed at this property for four nights in early September with four adults and two kids while attending a family wedding at BlueBridge. The cottage exceeded our expectations—it was even more beautiful than the pictures!Despite experiencing rain most days, the property itself was lovely, and the kids had a blast exploring and hunting for rocks and acorns. We were also able to enjoy the fire pit and outdoor pavilion on our one dry evening, which was a highlight. The house was incredibly well-equipped with everything we could possibly need—from paper products and first aid kits to puzzles and games. Inside, it was spacious and comfortable; nobody felt cramped at all. The kids loved the foosball table in the basement and were thrilled to sleep in the bunk beds while Mom and Dad stayed in the queen bed in the same basement bedroom. Our only minor note (and really, it’s very minor) is that the Keurig coffee machine is quite loud when the pump kicks on—so much so that you can hear it all the way in the basement! If others are sleeping, just be aware it sounds like a tiny airplane taking off.Overall, we had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone traveling with a large group!
Cabin is great and property is amazing. The covered pavilion was perfect to host games at night under the lights. Enough rooms/beds for everyone in company. Everything we needed right under one roof. Just far enough from traverse city to avoid the craziness, but close enough to still go enjoy the city during the day. Would love to come back in the future!
