Our family gathering to celebrate a 95th birthday will remain memorable. All enjoyed the comfort and countryside setting of the house, sitting on the patio listening to birds or reading and gathering around in the various rooms with ample space to accomodate our large group. Proximity to Kingston allowed us to visit Old Fort Henry and to enjoy a 1000 island dinner cruise. Many thanks to Steve and Katya for hosting us!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous home and farm! The property is beautifully renovated and decorated. This home could easily be in a home decorating magazine but was also so cozy and welcoming. We spent the day in Kingston but wished we could spend the whole time relaxing at this farm, doing the many activities available, such as kayaking, cycling or using the fire pit. We enjoyed barbecuing and eating on the large patio, relaxing in the quiet countryside. We definitely recommend this place for family or friend gatherings. It was perfect! Steve was an excellent host.
A Perfect Spot for a Memorable Family GatheringWe stayed at this property for a family gathering of 12 and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The home was exactly as described—spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped to accommodate our entire group with ease. Everyone had a wonderful time, from morning coffee chats to evening dinners, and there was plenty of room for us to relax and reconnect. One of the highlights was the nearby Provincial park with water access, which was an absolute lifesaver during the very hot weekend. It gave us the perfect spot to cool off and enjoy some outdoor fun. The location itself was peaceful and scenic, making it ideal for both adventure and relaxation.Thank you to our hosts for providing a property that truly helped make our family weekend special. Highly recommend for any large group looking to create lasting memories.
