We really enjoyed being located right on the beach and being able to swim and walk the beach right from the property. There were stores and restaurants just a short walk from the house as well. Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked fine for us during our stay.

Great stay overall. The pictures don’t do it justice! The house is beautiful with an amazing view of a perfect, quiet beach. The location was great, very close to town. The A/C worked great. We did lose power one night but were able to get the generator working, which was great to have as a backup. Hosts had good communication. For improvements, I would suggest more towels accessible for a beach house with 4 people staying 5 days. A couple of the hand towels seemed dirty upon arrival. We loved the outdoor shower — the pressure and temperature were actually better than inside. The pillows could use an update, but these were minor inconveniences. Overall AMAZING stay, we will definitely be back.

If you’re looking for a gorgeous sunset view and great outdoor space, this could be your spot! The neighborhood is quiet and a quick walk to town and other spots to dine as well as the grocery.Unfortunately, for all of the careful attention given to decor in the home, not nearly as much care has been given to the basics. The kitchen lacked even the norms in a str like salt, pepper, sweetener or vinegar/oil. There are no bowls, not one, for cereal, etc. We were only two so the 5 mismatched plastic cups sufficed, but wouldn’t have for a party of 4. There were beach towels and two camp chairs but no other beach amenities such as an umbrella or a cooler. None was advertised but is pretty standard for a beach house on an island.That said, the management is very responsive. The generator didn’t work when the power went out and they were quick to send someone within a couple of hours.

Great location!

We loved this cottage. The location is wonderful; close to everything, but far enough away to be quiet. The home is right on the water, which is so nice for evening walks on the sand. The back porch was inviting and allowed for our family to sit and enjoy the view, as well as the company. The bedrooms have AC, but there is no AC in the main living area. However, simply opening the windows and doors made it quite comfortable with the sea breeze and it wasn't an issue for us at all. The shower water temp never got really hot, but it was warm enough. Communication with the property manager was easy and they were quick to respond when we had any issues or questions. The surrounding area is really special. There's so much to see and do, beautiful beaches, tons of great restaurants, and the city center was lively and inviting. The locals and other tourists were always very friendly. We stayed in 3 different areas of the island during our trip, and we all felt that this area was our favorite! We will definitely be back!

The host communicated promptly and seemed very interested in us enjoying our stay but we had 2 issues that were never resolved. First, we never had working wifi during the whole trip even though all the neighbors did and second the AC units struggled to work effectively for more than a couple of hours, The mini-split systems have their external compressor portion tucked into the crawl space with no (I mean none) ventilation. So the heat builds in the crawl space until the units struggle and heat starts radiating up through the floor. It means all the bathrooms (and other rooms) have nice radiant heated floors, but that's not really desirable here. I can't reccomend staying here until they restore some ventilation to the crawl space. You can see in the current pictures that it's all boarded up.

We are truly sorry to see a 2-star review, especially considering how promptly we responded to every request made during your stay and how much effort was put into ensuring you were comfortable. Regarding the WiFi, we did address this issue immediately and it was restored during your visit. We also provided additional items that were not included in the listing, simply to make your stay more enjoyable. As for the AC units, this is the first time in over two years—including the previous long-term owner who lived there full-time—that anyone has reported a problem of this kind. The setup of the equipment is intentional and follows recommendations to protect the units from salt exposure, as the home is directly by the ocean. This is a very common practice in beachfront homes in Puerto Rico due to how quickly salt air deteriorates exterior equipment. We inspected the system again after your stay and confirmed that it is operating normally. While we understand that each guest has different expectations, it is disappointing to receive a rating that does not reflect the many positive aspects of the property or the level of attention and responsiveness provided throughout your stay. Not all guests take into account the efforts made on their behalf, but we remain committed to offering excellent service and continuously improving. We appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best in your future travels.
