Perfect stay for a couple and a dog! Easy check in and check out. Everything as described but more peaceful than the pictures make it out to be. Highlight would be the outdoor kitchen and living areas. Had everything we needed for a cozy few nights.
Great for getting out in nature! Absolutely loved the decor and shower. Also really great for dogs; there was even a towel for dogs. Beautiful property, roughly 20 mins from downtown Bastrop/Bastrop State Park. Perfect for outdoorsy people (especially city-dwellers wanting some fresh air). Lots of dishes/cooking utensils, a coffee bar, fire pit, and plenty of seating as well!
We had a great New Year’s at the Elf’s Aerie! The treehouse had everything we needed, including coffee, all the coffee goodies, and water. The outdoor shower was a fun experience! The property was beautiful and we had lots of helpful information of places to visit in the area.
What a magical little fairy treehouse! I finally got to pretend to be part of the Swiss Family Robinson, which was one of my favorite books as a child. The property is very well cared for and everything is impeccably built. I was amazed by the way the treehouse is built to allow the trees to continue growing. The outdoor shower was the highlight of the stay. It was lightly raining at night while showering and that was so magical. The bed was comfortable and the decor so lovely. The host was very communicative and helpful. Super cute lights twinkling on the ceiling of the bedroom and the windows open so you can hear the birds sing and the rain fall.
What a fantastic one night stay at Elf's Aerie. My daughter and I took my husband/her dad to this sweet little get away and had a great time. Honestly, it was wonderful just to sit outside and talk, play cards and have s'mores! The outdoor shower was a treat too. Surprisingly private and well taken care of. James was amazing at answering all of my questions. He immediately took care of the fact that there was a missing lighter and some fire starter when we got there. Which we were very grateful for because the s'mores were delicious! This is truly a great place for getting away from the noise of the world but also for enjoying the creativity of God and James! Thank you for a memorable Father's Day night out!
This is a must stay....even better than the pics. Very comfortable....glamping. Easy cooking space, lots of games in the room....comfy bedding. And the wifi works too. After researching 25 treehouses in the Austin area, this one is definitely the best.
