Welcome to the Gathering Place,
Discover our stunning 4-bedroom lakeside retreat that comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests. This home is a balance of tranquility & fun, perfect for families, couples, or friends looking to create lasting memories.
Our beautifully designed space features an inviting outdoor hot tub, perfect for enjoying a glass of wine under the stars.
Discover our spa-like bathroom. With a spacious walk-in shower & soaking tub, where you can indulge in a rejuvenating experience.
Located in between Bobcaygeon & Fenelon Falls in the heart of the Kawartha's
Bring your toys as the Snowmobile trails and Beaches are within walking distance.
Dock can accommodate 2 medium length boats including easy access for kyaking or paddle boarding.

NOTES:
Noise bylaw prohibits loud outside noise from 9pm to 7am. This includes shouting, playing amplified music/musical instruments etc.

Swimming off the dock is not recommended and may be hazardous due to soft lake bottom and weeds.

Fishing off the dock is great.

The Beach and free boat launch is located 1.6 kms away at McAlpine Park.

Please bring your own locally purchased wood if you would like to use the outdoor fire pit.

A Relaxing Escape in Kawartha!

We loved our stay at The Gathering Place! The cottage is beautiful, super spacious, and has everything you need — it really feels like a home away from home. The location is perfect, right between Fenelon Falls and Bobcaygeon, and the surroundings are so quiet and peaceful. Plenty of parking too, which made it easy for our group.The main bathroom is connected to the primary bedroom, but there’s also a handy extra washroom in the laundry room. The only downsides were that the canal is quite shallow, so boating from the dock isn’t ideal (especially for bigger pontoons), and fishing is tricky because of the weeds.Overall, this place is cozy, comfortable, and in a great spot. We’d happily come back!
