We had such a great time staying here! Leslie, Bob and their dog Finn were all so welcoming, and the ranch was gorgeous. We cannot recommend Meadowlark enough, and will stay here again in a heartbeat if we are back in the area!

Thank you so much! We enjoyed visiting with you two. Please come again!
Bob and Leslie are AMAZING hosts! They made us feel welcomed and cared for the second we arrived. Their property has an unbelievable view and we were so grateful to get to experience the peacefulness of it during our stay. It was a great little getaway and the guest house was clean and cozy - exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely be staying again!
We had the most wonderful, relaxing and quiet stay. Leslie and Bob are the sweetest hosts I’ve even met. They heard how much I love cows, and before I even unpacked, they brought the cows up so I could meet them. I loved learning about the city and history and was even given a fossil that was found. The bed was comfy and the apartment was cute and very well decorated. I hope to make this a yearly trip.

The property is a little ways out, which provides the perfect amout of tranquility and beauty when not out adventuring but not so far out that we can't get anywhere. The apartment was clean and comfortable and every amenity considerately taken into account.

My dad and I truly enjoyed the serenity and peaceful vibe of Meadowlark Mountain Ranch. The property overlooks rolling hills and meadows with a herd of Scottish Highland cattle and a friendly Airedale that greeted us every day. The hosts were friendly, helpful and responsive. It was a perfect stay!
This is a beautiful property! Quiet, in the country ... just a few minutes ride to town. Accommodations are perfect. Hosts are wonderful, great communication! Love Finn (their dog)! Our second stay there. Hope to do it every year!

Thank You Teri! You and Hank are gracious guests and always welcome! Hope to see you next year! Leslie
This property was just as pictured, super clean and super cute. It is far enough away from town that you feel secluded enough to enjoy some peace and quiet, but close enough to town to grab dinner. The hosts are very gracious and friendly. My daughter loved to walk the property in the morning and the stars are beautiful at night. The morning sunrises were truly the highlight of our trip.

If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway where you can completely unplug, then book your next getaway with Bob and Leslie! From feeding the cows to star gazing at night, we felt like we were in an episode of Yellowstone. The rolling hills and amazing sunsets will surely bring us back! Thank you so much for being such wonderful hosts and we look forward to seeing you guys again.

Thank you Jack and Mandy! We’ll leave the light on for ya!
Amazing hosts! Leslie greeted us and showed us around the bunkhouse. She is so kind and welcoming. Their dog, Finn, was a fun greeter as well. So friendly. The bunkhouse is clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. The location is ideal for a quiet getaway with spectacular views. We enjoyed watching the cattle grazing and the elk coming near in the evening. We had a tire issue during our stay and Leslie helped out with a compressor and gave great advice on a repair shop in town. She went above and beyond to help make our stay great. We highly recommend this property and these hosts.

Thank you! We appreciate your kind words so much! Please come and stay again.
This property has the most wonderful grounds and view! We loved the western decor and the patio. Our only issue was that the bedroom has a wardrobe with a large mirror sitting beside the bed. My hubby was quite startled when he woke up and was looking at himself. :)
This cozy hideaway was perfect for what we were doing. Easy access to Spearfish, Belle Fourche, and Deadwood but so remote feeling and peaceful. The photo provided on the VRBO site does not do it justice. Sitting in the morning sun taking in your first cup borders on meditative. The owners are about the friendliest people I have met. Highly recommend whether you are looking for somewhere away from it all or a beautiful location with easy access to the local towns and cities.
We really enjoyed our stay. The host (Leslie) was very nice and it was nice to meet her, I think what we liked the most about the property was the view from the patio. In the morning (late August) it was very nice to sit out there and take in the scenery. Leslie provided everything we could possibly need. Our stay was perfect. There was two of us and we were there visiting my Mom. It was about 15-20 minutes from Belle Fourche. If ever again in Belle Fourche I know where we are staying, Thank you for everything!
Our stay was so relaxing and the view was so beautiful-The Black Hills never let us down. Our first night we saw a heard of elk and other nights deer and antelope. Leslie and Bob were super gracious, checking in on us making sure we had everything we needed. Finn the dog was great! The bunk house was very comfortable, decorated so cute. The kitchenette had everything we needed and the small refrigerator also had a nice size freezer for microwavable food. I would highly recommend staying here, and hope to stay again sometime. Thank you Leslie and Bob!

So kind of you, thank you Sheila! We enjoyed visiting with you and your folks and you’re welcome back anytime! (Second time guests receive a discounted stay!) Leslie
This was a great place to stay, we enjoyed it very much. Bob and leslie are excellent hosts. If you love beautiful scenery and actual silence, and seeing wildlife and a sky full of stars this place is for you. We spent a lot of time sitting on the patio looking at the beautiful view, (photos don’t do it justice). We saw whitetail deer, mule deer and elk. One evening we watched 8 Batchelor bull elk feeding in a meadow, we got to see them sparring, and could hear the antlers crashing after dark. We could see no other homes or buildings from the patio, very private location. Our hosts made a point of letting us know that the patio was ours to use during our stay, and we would not have to share it with them, not that that would have been bad, they are great people, just good to know that they take your visit seriously and want you to get the best enjoyment you can while there. Thanks again Bob and Leslie this was one of the most beautiful and relaxing homes we have stayed at

Thank you, Marilyn and Paul, for staying with us. We enjoyed our visits! Please come back any time.
Cute well cared for apartment above the garage with bathroom and eating area down stairs. A grill was provided for us outside on the patio. We spent our mornings and evenings on the patio taking in the breathtaking views. Sunrises and sunsets were beautiful! Wildlife was in abundance during our visit. We were blessed to see elk, white tail deer, mule tail deer, pronghorns, wild turkeys, and coyotes. Their horses and mule were fun to watch grazing and of course, their dog Finn, was a joy. Bob and Leslie were gracious hosts and we enjoyed our visits and their knowledge of the surrounding area. We brought our own ATV and enjoyed riding the area trails as well as a couple of days of sight seeing. The evenings were spent relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet. This was definitely a vacation we will remember as one of our favorites!

Our apologies for the water. You were a last minute booking and the hot water breaker was off... an oversite on our part. Had we been notified of this, it would have been addressed! Also, our site does not advertise a full kitchen.
Cute little place! Love the serenity and beauty of the surroundings. Bob and Leslie are very gracious and accommodating! We would definitely stay here again!
