My parents, husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a home away from home while visiting Japan. The internet is fast, beds are cosy and the surrounding area feels safe. The apartment is easily accessible by both Metro and JR but away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. The kitchen had almost everything we needed other than a rice cooker - I bought a microwave rice cooker which suited us. There is no toaster but we used the stove grill for toast (usually used for fish). All utensils are provided for 6 people - pantry essentials and fresh food can be bought from the nearby supermarket. The furniture is lightweight so they easily move when getting on or off, especially the couch. The host provides prepaid cards for the coin laundry in the same building which is very convenient (60 minutes for wash and dry in the same machine). There are several local eateries within walking distance which are definitely worth trying. Some refuse to serve non Japanese speakers but this isn’t due to racism but them being afraid to provide subpar hospitality due to language barriers.Overall a comfortable stay in a clean and modern house.
