Large upper Level House with 3 Bedrooms with 3 queen beds, Tropical gardens with above ground pool to take a dip, Air conditioning to keep you cool in the tropical heat. 7 min walk to Horn island Wharf with ferries to and from Thursday island leaving reguly. Short 5 min walk to local grocerie shops and to the Wongai Pub for a refreshing drink or pub meals. Property is 10min drive from airport, transfers to and from can be arranged.

Family holiday

My trip in the Torres Strait involved a bit of family catch-up as well as business and it was great to be able to combine both in a remote part of Australia in a house that meet both needs. The house was large and clean with a range of appliances and utensils. The well kept tropical garden was a joy to look at from the balcony that attracted an array of birdlife. Joe the property manager/caretaker was very friendly and helpful. Really appreciate Joe and Steve’s efforts to make us comfortable. I highly recommend this stay. Kevin
