Place was great for our family. Very clean and cool and very close to the train station. That means it is also very close to the train tracks, which did not bother us.

Great spot, right near Okubo Station (without being loud)! Easy to get to via public train, the property is conveniently situated near many restaurants and close to lots of shopping. Each room has it's own AC control and was great for allowing family member's to have their own space. Would stay there again!

Great place for 6 adults to stay. Places to hang out together while still providing privacy. Very near Okubo Station and also convenient to Shin-Okubo for easy access to sightseeing on public transit. Close to lots of shopping and restaurants, and one stop from Shinjuku for even more options. Great communication with the host. Would love to stay here again!

We stayed for 2 weeks, my wife and I along with our 2 adult children. We traveled all around Tokyo, to Kamakura , Kyoto, Mt Fuji and Disney, we accessed everything with two train stations within a very short walking distance. There are 2 7-Eleven stores right around the corner for anything you need, nothing like the 7-Eleven stores in the US. The apartment was great, bedrooms on the 1st and 3rd floors with the kitchen, bathroom and living room on the second floor so you didn’t have to worry about waking anyone. Mini splits in every room kept all rooms cool. Highly recommend.

We are a family of 6, and this property was perfect for our 4 day stay in Tokyo. So close to the train station, food, convenience stores. We felt very safe, everyone had their own room. The AC was awesome! We like our rooms freezing! We would stay here again.

Host: Very responsive and helpful to our needs. A pleasure to work with.Location: Very good for access to train network at nearby Okubo station. However half of the taxis we requested through GoTaxi had difficulty finding the property or would not travel down some of the narrow road accessing the property so we needed to determine alternate pick-up pointsProperty: The property was not nearly as nice looking as the VRBO photos suggest. Older, somewhat musty smell. Photos of the various rooms in the property were 'staged' like you would stage a home for sale, but actual furnishings, and amenities were old. Carpeting/rugs in the VRBO site photos did not exist in the property. A number of window treatments were old or curtain hanging clips missing. Kitchen furnishings and utensils were incomplete or very used. Very small cutting boards were wood and not pleasant to use. Most of the kitchen utensils needed updating, not enough spoons and only 1 dull knife. Old spices were left behind. This property promotes 2 toilet rooms, 1 shower 'bathroom' and 1 'tub/shower' room. This is inaccurate as the shower and the tub/shower rooms were part of the same area so unless you are a couple, 2 people could not shower or bathe at the same time. We had 8 people in the unit and only 1 true bath/shower facility. Overall: The property worked for us (6 adults, 2 younger children), and the price for Tokyo represents a fair deal, but realize the unit could use some 'refreshing'.
