Wonderful hosts and a great location in North Rustico. Spacious enough for a family of 4 adults, was great having a second bathroom and a well equipped kitchen. Everything you could want on the island within a few minutes. Great beaches everywhere. Had a great stay.

Very clean place. Hosts were easy to contact, and very friendly. Great location with tons of little shops around, close to waterfront. My friends and I had a great time and very close to Cavendish festival as we were there for the Sommo Festival. Overall an excellent experience. Would definitely recommend!

My best friend and I had been looking forward to a trip to PEI for years, and I cannot imagine a better place for us to stay than the Mariner's Rest Vacation House. Each of us had our own comfortable, clean bedroom plus a full bathroom. (This spot would also be great for two couples, or a couple with two children.) The kitchen was equipped to cook full meals, and parking was easy in the driveway. One morning we sat outside reading on the beautiful back porch area, and the unit also had plenty of board games and books. The location was amazing! Right across the street were shops and eateries, including a cute coffee shop we visited each day, and a small grocery store and ice cream shop were also a short walk away. Also right across the street was the North Rustico Harbour and a newly renovated boardwalk; a 20-minute walk on the boardwalk took us to several other great restaurants and the beach, too. Finally, "Anne of Green Gables" was our main draw to PEI, and North Rustico is perfectly located for Anne fans. Cavendish and the Green Gables Heritage site were about a 20-minute drive away, although I'd recommend a stay here for visitors whether they were Anne fans or not! The hosts were so friendly (we even ran into them in Charlottetown one day), and they were happy to provide local recommendations and advice, as well as beach chairs for a sunset-watching trip to the western portion of the island. I wouldn't change a thing about our stay in North Rustico!

Great location in North Rustico

Great location, the basement apartment is right on the bike path. The unit is cleanThere are restaurants, coffee shops and grocery store close by. Tim and Colleen provided lots of idea on where to go, where to eat. The unit is definitely spacious for a family of 4.

Everything about our 4-night stay at this property was excellent - including communication with our host (who gave us great tips for our travel plans in PEI). Our only regret was not spending more time at the actual location... yes, steps from the best the island has to offer. Nevertheless, we did enjoy travelling the province from 'tip to tip.' Thank you, Tim and Colleen.
