Beautiful unique home, beds are very comfortable, its close to shopping and restaurants, John and his wife are so nice, friendly, and kind. Home is clean and set up with absolutely everything you need. Back porch is comfortable, birds and squirrels love the back yard. Highly recommend!

Stayed here for two nights and it was a very nice place to stay. Very comfortable and well decorated. A lot of charm! The host was very kind and helpful and it's it's near many shops and restaurants. Beautiful view!

The host, John, was very friendly and accommodating. The house was everything advertised and more. Lots of room for everyone to relax comfortably, and the bedrooms are so charming. Close to historic St. Charles shopping and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed the beautiful historic home near downtown St. Charles during our annual girls' trip. It was a short drive to the fun shopping on Main Street. The weather was extremely warm when we arrived, but the house had cooled off more comfortably the second day. We enjoyed a relaxing breakfast on the screened-in porch even though it was very warm that week. The quaint kitchen had all the amenities we needed. We liked having 2 full bathrooms and 3 beds!

We stayed for an event at the convention center near by. This area was quiet, buy very close to downtown St Charles. We walked daily to coffee shops nearyby.The owners were very nice and helpful. They lived next door and were very responsive to questions. The library and back porch were favoritesWe'd totally stay again :)

This was the best place i have ever stayed. The back screened in porch and garden are absolutely wonderful. The hosts are available next store if you need anything. Clean, cozy and close to shops and restaurants. Great location. The church bell rings on the hour and the hummingbirds greeted us for morning coffee.

The property was comfortable and nice, however we rented this particular space because it was advertised as STEPS from main street....BLOCKS from main street !!! at the time the reservation was made there were many other options that were on main street. i have a breathing issue and was very disappointed to find out that we were that far away!! Not to mention all the additional parking costs we had to pay!! Wont make that mistake again.

Sharing a historical duplex with the property owners right next door was a real benefit. We appreciated their commitment to maintaining and continuing to restore the historical characteristics of the property.As owners of a 154 year old home, we can appreciate their commitment to the amount of care required. Their preview of things to do in area was thorough, and their location was very convenient to Main St. would consider staying again.
