The property is so quaintly decorated, and is fully stocked. There’s nothing you need to bring. Super clean and the bed is very comfy! There is a busy train track that runs right behind the house, so be aware of that when you’re sitting on the porch swing. It didn’t stop us from sitting outside at all. The grill could use a little attention as we tried to grill one night, but made it work. The front porch is beautiful with comfy Adirondack chairs with cushions. So, lots of seating choices. We will definitely be back!!!!

The home was just what we needed with a comfortable bed, very usable kitchen, and being pet friendly was a bonus. There was plenty of space in the master bedroom for two large dog crates, so we had them close at night. The yard was great for walking them on the leash. I can see that it would be a wonderful place for a family with lots of books and board games and even some furniture for kiddos. It was super hot while we were in Mansfield, but the AC was very comfortable. The host was responsive and prompt in replies. Thanks for a great stay!

What a gem! We felt right at home. The house was so clean and nicely decorated. We loved the openness inside, and cooking in the kitchen. It was obvious that attention to detail was considered. Check-in was a breeze, and communication with Frances was excellent. We loved the quiet, and the beautiful property around the house. We even liked hearing the train off in the distance, reminding of us of our grandparents’ houses (no train whistles, just the rhythmic sound of the train going down the tracks). We are already thinking of our next stay here. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We rented for 2 days during which our son was getting married at a nearby vineyard. The location was great, house exactly as described and exactly as shown in listing pics. Check in and out was easy. We will definitely stay here in the future while visiting the area.

Clean and beautiful space, the open concept and shared spaces lead to lots of opportunities to hangout and spend time together. The outdoor spaces are beautiful, we really enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit listening to the trains go by at night. I booked the space to spend some time with my friends and celebrate my 40th birthday, we had everything we needed to cook meals and even some extra stuff I don’t normally see at spaces like this. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to spend some quality time with people they love. It’s near many great outdoors spaces as well as the Laura Ingalls Wilder house and museum. We attended the White Hart Renaissance Faire just 20 minutes away.

We were very impressed with the care the host went to make sure everyone had something to do at the rental. It was clear a lot of time and thought went into making your stay a pleasant one. We are planning on coming to this area again in the Spring and we will be staying here again if it is available.

Very convenient to Mansfield and the Wilder house! Comfortable master bedroom. The second bedroom is a loft with a small ladder - works fine as long as you don’t have any mobility issues.

We had a quick overnight trip planned and this house was perfect for our big family. I was so thankful they were able to accommodate a one night stay for us. Everything was clean and spacious. I loved the toys they had for little . ones. The back yard was spacious and the home is close to town. We would def rent here again.

Lovely house

The property suited our needs very well. It was a 'girls' outing to Baker Creek Tulip Festival. So the house was relaxing, clean and convenient place to stay. We wished we stayed longer!
