We stayed for a girls weekend with a group of friends. Plenty of space, relaxing and love the amount of supplies in the kitchen. Love having the option to rent a boat at the marina!

Great House in a Great Spot
We LOVED this house. It's tucked away in the trees, and would be incredible in both summer, fall, and winter. We loved the floor plan, especially the kids area downstairs. The owners had it stocked with everything we needed. We rented a boat for the day, which was super easy and would highly recommend. We also really loved grilling out on the deck and drinking coffee on the porch in the mornings! Plenty of space for two families and kiddos! This was our first visit to Murphy, and we can't wait to visit again. We enjoyed everything about the experience, from the house to the location. Perfect getaway!!

GPS Graduate Girls Weekend
My daughter and I made plans for a long weekend in Murphy, NC to celebrate a last hurrah for my girl and her besties! We have been here several times over the past few years and have always had such a wonderful time albeit with fewer people. This time we had a total of 7 and the accommodations did not disappoint. There was plenty of room to spread out for all the teenage girls downstairs while I had a relaxing retreat upstairs by myself. We spent the majority of our time at the lake house and dock area out back. The girls mostly wanted to "chill" without visiting other local attractions. Thankfully, the weather cooperated! Two of the girls brought their inflatable paddle boards and the others shared floats and the handy canoe that the hosts provided. A couple of the girls even tried to fish for a while, unfortunately they were not successful. In between multiple trips to the lake the girls spread out to play games, read books, and refuel with sandwiches and snacks. Everyone agreed that it was a perfect time together at the perfect location! I'm thrilled that my girl got to have this time with her precious friends before they all moved onto college and adult life. Thank you Jess and Carrie for this time away at your lovely lake house! I have no doubt that we will want to return again before too long!
Great spot on the lake! Floorplan was smart but as a group of 4 adults we didn't really spend any time downstairs. There was no cell service but the Internet kept us connected for texts and calls. The only small hiccup we had was that the power went out for a few hours. Because the power was out, there was no Internet so no real way to contact anyone about it unless you drove back 40 minutes or so to town to get some service. Fortunately we caught a break in the rainy weekend and the sun came out around the time the power went off, so we played in the lake while we waited for it to come back on.
