Such a peaceful and restorative stay. The cottage was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We loved being right on the lake and especially enjoyed taking the canoe out. It was the perfect place to slow down, relax, and recharge. We would happily stay again.
Fabulous cottage in a fabulous location! Loved the kayaks and the fireplace, all the games and the chairs by the lake. Maybe a little more light on the kitchen wouldn’t hurt, but that’s a minor issue. Would happily stay there again, but definitely longer!
Wonderful! Everything we could possibly need for family break. We loved going out on the lake. Jennifer was very communicative. The cabin was lovely and very well equipped- really thoughtful useful things to make holiday easy, fun and comfortable. Thank you!
We had a wonderful time swimming and kayaking. Lake is small and quiet, perfect for my youngsters to explore on the kayaks and fish to their hearts content. Amenities perfectly suitable for an unplugged vacation.

Hi Michael,
Thank you so much for your review and please thank whoever filled out the guest book for their sweet comments :)
You were wonderful, kind guests and we'd love to have you back again in the future!
This cabin was a beautiful as pictured..and soooo quiet. Swam a bit and kayaked a lot. The kitchen actually had storage for the food we brought! Beds were cozy, we slept well. And the shower had great water pressure…so unexpected…Thankyou so much for having us.
Everything about our stay was perfect. From the initial communication with the host, to the check-in process, the cleanliness of the space and we were even provided a little welcome basket. The lake was serene, the birds provided a magical show one morning and we used the firewood that was provided to make a cozy fire in the wood stove. The cottage also had a washer and a drying rack, a generously stocked kitchen with a few small appliances and a full sized refrigerator. The beds were clean and cozy and there were two heaters to take the chill off in the rooms, which were greatly appreciated as it was a damp May weekend. It is a quaint cottage in the middle of rural Nova Scotia so be prepared for insects and wildlife. No complaints at all! I would book again in the future.
As soon as we turned in the driveway we said wow. The setting and view of the lake are spectacular. You really feel like you’re in the middle of nature because you are. Jenny and her parents had the cabin in perfect order. The deck with the table and chairs was beautiful and the lower deck with chairs and then the dock were perfect ways to access this wonderful property complete with kayaks and a canoe. The beds were super comfy. There were spices in the kitchen and games and activities, if you come with your family. We definitely recommend this property if you want to have a delightful vacation!I left my charger plug there and hopefully can contact Jennifer about it. I trued to add some photos but the app wouldn’t take them.
Very remote, but easily accessible. Location was perfectly described and house was stocked with amenities. Beautiful location on the lake. It rained the entire time we were there, but the decks were a perfect place to dine had the weather been more accommodating . I would definitely spend time there again if ever in the area. Very clean and accommodating.

The lake setting was gorgeous. The cabin is pretty remote, down a dirt road in the woods, with the property sign partly hidden by trees. Be sure to stock up with groceries before you arrive, as there are no stores nearby. Its a peaceful place to relax, and enjoy water views and swimming, boating etc.
