The house was clean, and I felt comfortable in the house. The backyard was large and fully fenced in. The dogs enjoyed the yard. I felt safe walking in the neighborhood. Amenities were provided as listed on the site. The host responded quickly when I had trouble with the TV and getting into the house. There are improvements to be made. I was surprised by the unkept landscaping. Tress/bushes were overgrown. Weeds were present in the rocky areas. The tree in the front yard was dead. The pool area and lanai were dirty. The area had a buildup of dirt. The framing of the lanai was dirty/ moldy looking. The lanai screening had some tears and had a green tint in some areas. While the pool itself was clean and appeared to be in good shape, the pool solar cover was very difficult for one person to use . Also pieces of the cover were flaking off into the pool, so skimming was needed before using the pool. Other things that surprised me: - the house uses well water; I was expecting city water. -the microwave was located in the garage. - the Verbo listing mentions a garage. It is full with various items, and there’s no room for a car. - the keypad broke, but we used keys in a lockbox. - the blinds in house didn’t work well. - the furniture in the living room could be more comfortable. - the grill was a charcoal ( not propane) . I was expecting more based on what I paid to stay there.
