This delightful home is an excellent choice for a stay in Pacific City: you’re right in the heart of the action, with easy walking access to the beach and the shops, dining, and brews of Cape Kiwanda! In addition, this amenity-rich home includes an outdoor shower, fenced yard, barbecue, large patio with a hot tub, and a game room in the garage. With a king suite, queen bedroom, and a double-twin bedroom, you’ll have plenty of luxurious space to retreat. The living room is a serene, bright place with plush sofas, a gas fireplace, and a large SmartTV—a great location to gather your guests. You can dine in the formal dining space, at a charming kitchen table, or at the breakfast bar in the sleek, fully equipped kitchen. The kids and kids at heart will gravitate to the garage, where ping-pong and foosball tables set the stage for friendly competition.

Walk out your door and you’ll have a boardwalk to the beach and the Pelican Pub, Stimulus Coffee, and the tony Meridian Restaurant. A huge sand dune and tidepools will keep the kids busy outdoors. Hop in the car for a trip to the Tillamook Creamery, then drive further north to explore the North Coast. Head south instead, and you’re 20 minutes from Lincoln City and less than an hour to Newport. Crab Shack is perfectly placed for a great time at the beach, whether you’re on foot or exploring further afield!

Do Not Recommend, Choose Another Renal

Our experience with rental of the Crab Shack property:The Crab Shack has some great deficiencies in the turn over process between parties that occupy it, the home is in a state of deferred maintenance and the online pictures leave out a lot of what it really looks like. It was clearly not cleaned since the last guest, we have happily stayed at multiple rental properties in Pacific City both with Vrbo and Vacasa and this one I would NEVER recommend to anyone, we took a chance on a non-reviewed property and I regret it. The duvet on the master bed was not washed (visible sand and dog hair on it), this was revolting and had me questioning the cleanliness of the entire home and especially the master bedroom, were the sheets even changed? Baby pacifier behind the door, dirty bath mats, non working bath fans, fridge filter needs replaced, weeds growing out of gutter, trash in backyard, no cleaning spray in kitchen, missing towels in master bath (found in dryer), broken laundry basket and garage light switch, stained rug, pillow and sofas in living room, expired food in pantry. Lights on hot tub didn’t work and only some of the jets worked. Chipped dishware, water damage in ceiling in garage. Also no privacy coverage in the master bedroom, just a light filtering screen, hard to get a good nights sleep, we had to DIY a solution with extra sheets. The half bath is a bit fussy and can take a few times to actually flush.Look elsewhere for your beach rental!!!
