Everything was new and it has comfy beds! Owner was very accommodating with our last minute request to book. Amazing property and so close to everything delicious restaurants down stairs a huge bonus!
Our condo was located extremely close to everything and we could walk everywhere. It was very modern and had very nice finishes. It was very clean and we had no issues with anything. We would stay here again. Thank you!!
Two of my friends and myself stayed at the Alpine Lofts, and it was a great trip. The place was extremely clean, and had everything we needed. It is convenient to everything in Helen and my friends and I could walk everywhere! Can’t wait to go back😁
Condo was great. Perhaps the cleanest rental ive ever stayed in. Bed was the most comfortable I've ever had in a rental. Great location to walk everywhere in Helen. The only drawback is the noise from the rental above, which can not be controlled by the rental agency.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
This property and host were exceptional. The host communicated detail checkin information and how to get to the property, prior to our stay. The apartment is brand new and everything was on point. We look forward to staying here every time we are in town. Great location in the middle of town. Amazing!
Really nice property, everything is new. The property in my description read unit B2 had 2 bathrooms but there's only 1. Parking is the city of Helen parking so nothing is dedicated to Alpine Lofts. During the busy month of October this was a bit of a challenge. Overall we really enjoyed this property & we'll book it for next year.

Pros and Cons but the cons were major
We booked and paid for a 2 bathroom property with 2 balconies so imagine my surprise when we showed up to this unit but that is not all. Here is my list of pros and cons.
Pros
Great and easy check in instructions received prior to check in. Easy to follow.
Very clean and in good condition. The blinds were broken on the door but that is normal wear and tear for a rental unit. Microwave was not functional due to a breaker issue.
Plenty of space for 2 adults and 1 child
Fairly comfortable beds (including the sofa pull out bed)
Views from the front balcony are excellent.
Kitchen had plenty of plates, utensils and pans which made cooking in the unit very easy.
Excellent location. It is located within walking distance of practically everything you will want to do and see.
Parking is free and extremely convenient
Large tvs and comfortable furniture
Nicer bed linens and towels than you usually expect in a VRBO
Cute decor but it did not go overboard with needless nick nacks and clutter which is very appreciated
Management responds very, very quickly to messages. That is outstanding. They respond but they do not actually resolve anything. See the list of cons below.
Cons
Because it is located feet from a roadway (which is very convenient for walking places) and the master bedroom is facing that roadway and the walls are very thin, it is louder than we expected when we booked it. It is much quieter in the area with the pull out sofa bed but sleeping in the master bedroom is incredibly loud. We are exhausted after a few days here and considered checking into a hotel just to get some sleep but we had already wasted so much money booking this VRBO.
There is no cable. Only streaming television which is a challenge since the internet service is not great. It is free wi-fi but the quality of the internet service is weak which is expected in the mountains. Cable is a definite need in this area but is not available in this unit. It was impossible to even watch local news (and very difficult to watch national news) and the things you were able to watch were constantly buffering making them almost impossible to watch. This could be easily fixed with a basic cable package.
The headboard in the master is not attached well so every time you turn over it
Perfect location! We were able to walk everywhere. There was rolled ice cream in our building!
First time in Helen. We were not sure where to stay. This place was the perfect location. We were able to walk everywhere. Check-in and out process was super easy. I received an email with detailed instructions, as well as key code. Beautiful loft, enough space for the four of us. We will be back!
This one bedroom condo is on the fringe of the busiest area so in my mind is a perfect place to use as home base in Helen. The river and city park is right behind (close enough to go down to play if you chose) and restaurants and shops are all within walking distance. We visited July 4th weekend which shop owners said was busiest of the year in Helen and never had a problem with parking or noise. Great restaurant is on the same block and those farthest are still within walking distance (for us at least). The place is new, clean, and the owner/management have taken care in using comfortable and plenty of bedding and blankets. We were thankful for all! Great place for our mother/daughter trip!
