Alpine River Suites #401 - Cozy Riverfront Condo w/Overlooking River in Downtown

You are in the heart of all Helen has to offer. In the summer, you can walk to the access location for the Chattahoochee River Tubing. You can also purchase you tickets in advance at coolrivertubing.com. When you get back from tubing, grab a bite at the North Georgia BBQ on your way back to the condo, or choose from one of the many other restaurants nearby. Helen Festhalle is also within walking distance and offers Bingo, live music, Oktoberfest, and other events. Check out the Georgia Mountain Coaster in downtown as well. In Helen there's something for everyone!


Sit out on the deck and enjoy the peacefulness as you watch the river flowing by. Grill out on the provided grill while you enjoy a glass of wine from one of our local wineries. There is so much to see and do in Helen. For the kids (and adults), there is the Alpine Coaster and several locations to play mini golf. Enjoy strolling the streets of Helen - whatever the season - and do some shopping or grab a funnel cake.

Helen is a great location for family fun anytime of year. Come & visit during Oktoberfest where you can try German foods & beer, listen to authentic German music, and have the time of your life. If you prefer to enjoy nature and the more serene side of the area, there are some amazing hiking trails around Helen and outstanding waterfalls: Anna Ruby Falls near Unicoi State Park, Duke Creek Falls, or Raven Cliff Falls. There is something for everyone in Helen; make it your next vacation!

Nice surprise

The pictures did not do this condo justice. Very roomy and super clean. The location was perfect for walking everywhere. Being on the river is a treat. Nice and quiet at night. Great weekend get away!

Great visit

We were pleased with the cleanliness and location along side the river. We only had one situation occur. On the hottest day the HVAC was no longer working, but the temperature was still bearable. I called and reported it when we checked out. Convenient, comfortable and great location. We enjoyed the town and surrounding towns.

The bed is very high and would be very hard for a lot of people to climb up on. Should include a step stool. Apt could use some updating.

Waterfall chasers

Beautiful town and so much to see and do. Property is conveniently in walking distance to the heart of Helen. Property was clean and had everything we would have needed. Loved the river out back so peaceful and tranquil. We didn’t spend much time inside as we love to chase waterfalls and be outdoors. Bed was comfortable but almost too high for someone as short as I am so be prepared to do a run and jump in. We loved the fireplace at night and it’s 2 sided view from living room and bedroom. So pretty having on before we slept. People upstairs might had a heavy walk or the floor was thin so we had to drown out the sound when we were trying to sleep . The shower has a weaker shower head , would recommend a better one but it was suffice . Also you might want to tend to the front of shower landing and fill In with grout or chalk as water will continue to damage in openings in tile and wall under shower door. Overall we throughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to anyone. Thanks for your hospitality and your cute house to stay in!

We had a wonderful stay at Alpine River Suites. The morning coffee on the porch overlooking the river was fabulous. Within walking distance to downtown with lots of shopping and restaurants.

Great place Okay experience. Almost impossible to get help or questions answered. NO response to calls or text messages to phone number provided for the most part. We got locked out of our condo due to accidentally leaving night latch on front door and had no key to back door. Text message was sent about our dilemma and that time got a quick response.
