Very clean cute place! We spent one night to just reset from normal life. It is exactly what we needed! It was very cozy, romantic, and awesome host! The hot tub was perfect and the bath tub in the cabin was amazing. We had the best night!! Highly recommend this place!

The stay at the treehouse and Ole Mill was a very special experience. The little trail to the treehouse is nicely built and decorated with cool ambient light. The treehouse is nice and clean, and the description is spot on. We as a family of four had a great time!

The cabin (Old Mill) is beautiful inside, and very cozy. The owners of the property are responsive and attentive, and they were very accommodating of our dog. They even had a little book about the cabin and its history, and the nearby gazebo. The waterwheel is charming, though I'm bummed that our dog didn't want to try to spin it. (His loss.) The cabin had an outdoor outlet that the owners let us use to trickle charge our EV with the level 1 charger we brought. The incinerating toilet takes a little getting used to, but I'd just make sure to keep the bathroom window open. Overall, the cabin is a cute little spot for when you want to force yourself to not work and just chill for a short time.

A nice place overall! Wasn’t quite what we were expecting, but mostly at our fault for not thoroughly reading description and pictures.A couple things in description that aren’t there:BBQ grill (it’s a charcoal briquette, not BBQ)Shower (there is a shower head by the soaking tub)Murphy bed (it’s now a regular bed, so doesn’t fold up)Summertime stays can be warm!The fan provided didn’t help much. We ended up purchasing our own fan and leaving the patio door open at night which kept the place cooler. Hot tub and fire pit were very nice!

Cozy spot with great view

Traveling with girlfriends and have always wanted to stay in a treehouse. This spot was lovely and private with an incredible view. We enjoyed the soaking tub, the hot tub, and just being able to spend time together. Thanks for the great place!

We enjoyed the hot tub, the bath was great to use to rinse off after the hot tub. The bath was a bit big, so the hot water didnt stay hot to fill it. The outside fire area is private and secluded at night, and very enjoyable with the outdoor lights! The wifi worked well on our devices, but the tv wifi didnt allow us to finish out movie. The toilet was a fun new experience, no smell and easy to use! The decor was tasteful, and we were pleasantly surprised at the amenities packed into the small space including a small fridge and freezer. Great getaway for our anniversary!

Cute & cozy little treehouse

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. The place was clean and cozy! Toilet took some getting used to lol. It was a perfect 1 night getaway. Owner was kind and very prompt in his responses. Flexible check-in and check-out times was great. Would recommend!

Romantic getaway

This place is a fantastic get away for couples. Communication with property owner was excellent with very fast response to a question I had. Everything is SO clean and the layout is cute. The toilet seems to be updated from previous reviews. It's pretty simple to use. You'll love the view of Mount Pilchuck!!

Cute treehouse

This tree house was very nice! Lovely view, comfy bed, very quiet. The one slight issue we ran into was the incinerator toilet. It made the tree house a little smoky. But other than that, it was a lovely place to stay. The owners were very responsive and accommodating.

Thank you Kristen! The trick to avoiding smokey smells is to make sure the burn chamber is free from any paper sticking out. It will be 100% smoke free if that is the case.

Little piece if paradise!

I loved the cabin! As soon as I saw it I had to smile. The view is fantastic and I loved the big tub in the room and the fire place. The location is fantastic if you're trying to get away for a quiet peaceful getaway. The only reason I'm giving four stars is because I am very noise sensitive and the sound the toilet makes for 90 min after it's been "flushed" kept me from sleeping. Also the mattress made my back hurt (but some people might like the super soft mattress).

Relaxing oasis

We loved this gem , we had no issues. We spent our entire days here , leaving once for a short drive for approx 1/2 hour. I could've spent an additional day here. Loved the soaking tub. We were able to cook all our meals , the huge fan was a bonus. We enjoyed sitting outside , listening to the birds and just relaxing . We would definitely rebook this gem or check out the other properties listed by the host. Cute reading nook or meditation loft above. This is one of those trips where you can just plan on staying inside or at the property and refreshing your soul ,,bring Everthing you think you will need so you don't have to leave ( :

Cute and Peaceful Getaway

Cons: there weren’t check-in instructions so we didn’t know the code to unlock the door. Luckily it was unlocked when we arrived, but we weren’t able to lock the door when we left (not a big concern). It’s also not a treehouse so much as it has trees around it. Pros: we loved it. The mill wheel was peaceful and I liked hearing it when I woke up in the night. The location is convenient for an overnight getaway from Bothell. The tub is every bit as great as it looks. My partner and I drank whiskey and soaked by candlelight while talking about our plans for the fall and winter. The property is new so it still has that fresh wood smell! Ultimately it’s a cute little spot for a night away from kids and pets :)

I'll start off by seeing the host is very responsive and helpful with getting checked in and whatnot. The place was clean I had no issues there. The toilet situation was a surprise it smells a little outhouse like in that bathroom, which can be explained and if you know what you're walking into even expected, but I wasn't expecting that. It's also very very small especially for the price. If this property was on a lake or a river the price would have reflected what I was getting, but to be stuck in one room with the bathroom that smells a little outhouse like and no AC (which is my fault for not realizing that they only had a tiny fan in the unit and it was useless at removing the humid muggy air. At one point I noticed I what I thought was a large fan up in the loft but when I drug it down the ladder I realized it was a large heater.... My husband I had a last minute change of plans and I ended up going to the property alone and I'm grateful for that because they're literally wasn't enough room for me to maneuver comfortably between the bed and the entryway especially carrying my luggage. I simply wouldn't suggest this for a summer vacation rental. It would be excellent for somebody on business passing through on the sober tub or somebody who just wants to shut windows and read.

Thanks for your review. We encourage all guests to read the discription where we detail the size and layout. This is a treehouse cabin and only about 250 sq ft. The incenerating toilet is also detailed. It is odorless if used properly. We send detailed instructions for use. Its very simple to opperate, but we noticed it was not used as directed. 100s of couples and even small families have enjoyed stays here. Its small but part of the treehouse experience!

Fun but stinky

We wanted so bad to give a 5 star review because we had such a nice time there but here is the issue...... The bathroom smelled so bad. I would of probably given 5 stars still if some kinda air freshener was left. We had to spray hand sanitizer to somewhat get rid of that smell. It had one of those toilets that burns your 💩 so it has nothing to do with cleanliness but still you know that stinks. Everything else was so much fun and wonderful. I'm mean the tub was awesome and the hot water never went cold. The mill creaking behind the house was so cool it made watching scary movies so much scarier. The only other thing is a 10am check out Time was kinda a blow. I would of much preferred to sleep in longer and not be so rushed. 4.5 stars

We will look into this but so far has only happened when a more than one bowl liner is used and this prevents the waste from dropping into the chamber properly. We would have been happy to take a look during your stay had you let us know. Future guests should know that it is not normal for it to smell like burning waste. We also would have granted you a later check out if it was requested. We love our guests and think we could have given you a better experience on both issues if we were messaged or called.
