Excellent 4th of July Stay

This was an incredible stay over the Fourth of July with fireworks over the lake from all around. The VRBO hosts even left treats for my stay, incredible stay - will be back!

Lake Cabin Gem

We had a lovely stay at Blue Hydrangea - the lake cabin had a gorgeous view and was clean, cozy and had every amenity we needed. The covered porch was incredible with lots of comfortable seating and truly felt like an extension of the room. The marionberry pie and wine and chocolate made us feel so welcomed and was perfect for celebrating our 20th Anniversary. Thank you so much for having us - we will be back again for sure!

Retired couple stayed 60 days.

We were generally pleased with few exceptions. Our hosts were excellent, but the suite is only half as big as advertised. I measured to the inside of walls. I did not include the deck or the closet which is off limits to the guests. The bathroom is not a seperate room. Thissite does not permit me to explain.

Storm lake

Nice location on a quiet lake away from big city. Not the whole house. One room which was fine for couple. No additional bed options if you bring a kid. Kitchen very small as is the bathroom. Was no wifi.

Lake was the best part

The view and utilization of the lake was amazing, and that's kind of where the good stops. This was my first EVER getaway for just me, and first personal experience using this site. I had messaged Gary earlier in the day letting him know my approximate time of arrival, and asked a question (no reply). I ended up arriving sooner than anticipated and saw that there were two vehicles in the driveway, as well as a pop-up trailer. I messaged Gary again asking if I'd be blocking someone in. After waiting 10-15minutes with no reply, I followed the path up to where I'd be saying. I heard voices, so I knocked. Their son was in the room and said he was told my reservation was canceled. After about 10minutes, he was able to "clear things up" and was going to prepare the room again. 45minutes later, I finally get into the room. PLEASE NOTE: THIS ROOM IS ABOVE THE HOST'S HOME AND THERE IS A NEIGHBOR VERY CLOSE AS WELL. It is smaller than pictures portray...one room with a couple chairs, a very firm bed, a loveseat, and a kitchenette. The deck is not screened in, but does have safety rails and glass to protect from falling. The wifi is spotty at best. Little bit of a trek to get to the dock, on an incline that may not be great for people with really bad joints (my knees aren't great, but didn't have much issue) Joy came by about an hour after my arrival with toiletpaper, papertowels, and a couple treats. She had apologized profusely, and was nice. After enjoying a day on the lake, I was winding down for the evening when a VERY pungent smell (drug/skunk/sewage?) started wafting into the room (only 1 window was open). It instantly gave me a headache to the point I packed my things and left. Overall, not an amazing experience. I personally, will not be returning. This was supposed to be a getaway for self care and mental reset...having people on the same property was not what I envisioned.

What a lovely, secluded, quiet and peaceful location! And the studio is beautifully furnished with a country resort theme. Great attention to detail and all the comforts of home! I highly recommend and will return often!

The cabin was very clean and maintained. The view from the balony was absolutely amazing! My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and brought our kayaks. Other than getting supplies at the store we did not leave for the entire 3 night stay. The host (Jesse) was very helpful and a great communictor. I had an issue with vrbo overcharging us for an additional night and Jesse personally handled it. When I called vrbo all I got was an unhelpful chatbot. This was the break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life that we needed. My only regret is that I didnt book an even longer stay.

What a fabulous place! Beautiful cabin with lake access and lovely porch for morning coffee. I feel totally rejuvenated. Jesse and Joy were amazing hosts. I had absolutely everything I needed including a wonderful welcome basket of goodies. So quiet and peaceful with a great lake view. Loved every part of my stay. Thank you!

Perfect get away

The Blue Hydrangea was the perfect spot for our stay. The lake is beautiful and the cabin was perfect! So many little touches that made our time extra special. Jesse was super responsive to our few questions and even gave us some good tips for fishing on the dock. We Will definitely be coming back!!

Beautiful Place, Great Time

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The suite was comfortable, and the seating and view of the lake from the covered porch was fantastic. The host was quite accommodating, & responded quickly to our few questions. Our only constructive comment would be that more freezer space would be good. We had to surrender our local ice cream purchase to our children who live nearby, as it wouldn’t fit.

A nice cozy getaway

Cozy little place to get some rest and relaxation. Nice amenities, clean, quiet, and larger than the pictures might suggest. The real star of the rental, however, is the covered porch. I probably spent most of my trip curled up and reading out there. Will definitely be returning!J.R.

Relaxing Getaway

Looking for a local getaway from the city to celebrate my wife's birthday, I found this surprisingly available gem of a place overlooking Storm Lake in Snohomish. The well-appointed one-room cabin with a sweet lake view from the covered porch is worth the price alone. Jesse, the host, was communicative and provided helpful directions to the cabin. Downtown Snohomish and the start of the Centennial Bike Trail are only a 15-minute drive from the property. We will be coming back with our kayaks and fishing gear.

Anniversary getaway

Lovely 3 night stay in this cozy cabin overlooking Storm Lake. The rain and cool weather kept us out of the lake, but we got out for hikes to Lime Kiln and Adventurer Falls. Dinner at the Repp capped our anniversary weekend deliciously. Lots of reading and napping.
