The cabin was cozy and very well stocked. A lot of amenities and extras. A lot of love has went into this cabin. Close to all the local activities yet in a quiet area for relaxing after a busy day. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area. Highly recommend!

Charles retired from the Enid, OK police department after 25 years. He just entered his second retirement from the more dangerous job of Drivers License Examiner for the State of OK. He is a radical OU football fan and (not quite so radical) fan of the St Louis Cardinals. Brenda was a Registered Nurse and retired from Integris Bass Hospital in Enid. We have a huge, wonderful family that brings us more joy and more pride than we deserve! We have 7 amazing children, 6 awesome children-in-law, and 17 absolutely incredible grandkids PLUS 2 amazing great grandsons!! God has blessed us above all we could ever ask or think!!

Why they chose this property

We have always loved the wholesome, family friendly, patriotic atmosphere of Branson. We travelled there with the family when they were younger. Then as empy nesters, we found a whole new area of entertainment in Branson! Owning a log cabin was one of those dreams we never really thought would happen. When we found a 'deal' on a cabin in Branson, we went to check it out. Well, that deal did not work out, but as we were driving around, we drove into a little community called Notch. Stopping at the office, a realtor told us there was a cabin for sale-so we went to look. If ever there was love at first sight--it was that day as we walked into our little Cabin Dreams! We could not leave! The poor realtor tried her subtle best to usher us on out--but we just kept sitting there. We were totally smitten!! When our guests tell us, 'we walked in and said wow' we always say 'I know!' We weren't sure we could make it work as a business, but we knew we had to have it! As it has turned out, that was the beginning of our cabin rental business. God has opened doors for us and made ways that we couldn't imagine and we absolutely love this business! Our cabins are so much more than just buildings to us and the guests that find us are the most delightful people in the world. What else could we do to make friends from all over the country and get to have them as guests in our home?
'Why this property?' What we thought was a random inquiry about a cabin was actually the hand of God opening a door for us. This cabin will always be special to us!

What makes this property unique

The warm, welcoming feel when you open the door is indescribable! We thought it just for us, but we have heard this numerous times from our guests. The soaring cathedral ceilings, the fireplace, the screened porch, the cozy bedroom. It all combines to welcome you 'home.' We have added some personal things- some family pictures, inspirational and romantic quotes (I love those kind of things), and a flag our son brought home to us from Iraq. We wanted our guests to not only love our little cabin, but to feel a little about who we are also. Most of our guests we never meet, but we love to grab the guestbook as soon as we get to the cabin and see what our guests have written. This is just a special cabin!
