There is a community trolley offered during summer months (Mon-Fri). Outdoor pool, sound side pier, playground, shuffleboard, basketball court, tennis court and pickleball courts.

We had a good stay at the OBX resort. The house was really nice, super spacious, and had plenty of room for everyone with several attached bathrooms, which was great for a big group. The heated pool and hot tub were definitely a big plus and we enjoyed using them. A couple of downsides – the bed was pretty uncomfortable, and very high. Kids were struggling to get into the bed. Also, there wasn’t any light in the pool area so it was hard to use in the evenings. We also asked for just a 30-minute late checkout since we had kids and infant, but the front desk declined the request, which was a little disappointing.Overall though, the place was very nice and had everything we needed for a fun stay with the family.

Spring OBX Stay

Our stay was amazing. Everything was extremely smooth from the booking, contract signing, emails, check in all the way to check out. Lynn was extremely responsive to my emails and texts. During our stay, the pool wasn’t heating the first day, and she immediately responded and handled it. The house was exactly what it looks like in the pictures and more. Plenty of room for our stay with 10 kids and 8 adults. The location is beautiful- kids were able to scooter around the neighborhood and we were able to walk to dinner in downtown duck. The beach is also a short walk away. Highly recommend this house for your next vacation!

Fantastic Vacation Spot

We had an awesome time at Life O'Rily! The house fit 19 people comfortably. It was perfectly placed between a quick walk/bike to the beach and a quick bike to the many shops and boardwalk in Duck. The landscaping offers privacy despite being centrally located in a neighborhood. The house was clean, hot tub was the perfect temperature, even though we didn't get the pool heated it still felt great for the middle of May! My only complaint is I wish the linenes were included, it took more planning and packing due to bringing our own towels and sheets for so many people. Overall a great place to stay and would reccomend it! Thank you Lynn for your help!

Great place for large family.

Having the option of ocean or private pool was great for everyone. The large dining space was great for games and dining. Lots of family time at this cottage and great location.

Wonderful trip!

The house was amazing and the location was even better with great access both to the beach and to Duck village. We had a fantastic time and the kids couldn’t get enough of the water slide! The owner was awesome and communicated with us every step of the way, I strongly recommend this property!

Perfect family vacation

Lots of comfortable space for everyone. This has has most everything you need - the pool and especially the slide was a hit with the kids (ages 4-14). Easy walk to the beautiful beach - lots of beach chairs and pool toys available with the house. We would definitely come back to stay at Life o’Rily.

Had EVERYTHING we needed. Even Tupperware containers in the kitchen. Plenty of room for all 13.

Could not ask for better accommodations. Kids had plenty to do and all kids of games, bikes, tennis equipment.. Great time, everyone wished we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful House in the heart of Duck

Life O’ Riley is a beautiful property that has great amenities that are exactly as described. The location is phenomenal as it is a short walk to the beach and a short drive/bike ride to the restaurants in Duck. Lynn and the property manager were very responsive throughout the entire process.

Wonderful house and location!

We had three families stay together for a wonderfully relaxing vacation at this house. It was spacious, clean and met all of our needs. The pool is a good size and helped to entertain our teenagers after the beach. The community is located within walking distance of many nice restaurants, shops and water sports. The owners were wonderful to deal with and made our visit very turnkey. It was our first experience in the Outer Banks as a family and we will definitely be back!

Family gathering

The house is clean and well maintained. The home is comfortable and accommodating for large groups, and the kitchen is thoughtfully provisioned. Lynn was a pleasure to work with. Four Seasons was perfect for our family, offering activities everyone to enjoy, from the playground to the pickle ball courts. It’s an easy walk to the beach as well as to the town of Duck, which we found to be delightful!

All & more then we expected.

What a beautiful home and location for our family get away. The beach and the village of Duck are both a short walk away from this house. The house was very clean and beds were all very comfortable. The kitchen and dining area had more then enough room for all 9 of us. We spent countless hours in the hot tub and pool enjoying our family. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic stay at Life O Rily

The house is beautiful - nicely updated and well kept! This is the nicest property we've stayed at in the Four Seasons community in Duck. Lots of bedrooms and ktichen supplies. Main living area/kitchen area is a nice size and has all the amenities. Nice short walk to beach and to town. Lynn was great to work with and answered all questions promptly. Highly recommended.

Wonderful destination

The house was spacious, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the community was gorgeous. The pool and hot tub were clean and well-maintained. While we initially had some issues with the toilets, the property manager addressed it promptly. We especially loved that you could walk to the restaurants and shops in Duck. Overall, we had an amazing vacation with family and friends. Thank you!

Vacation Dream

The house is wonderful- plenty of room for our large family! We all had a great time- the only problem was the extremely hot weather which made our feet burn as we walked on the beach but we were all be together and had a great time! The management company and Lynn were great and responded to remedy the few problems we had, in record time. It was the best vacation I’ve had in a long time!!

Living the Life o' Rily!

We spent our first week in the Outer Banks at this wonderful home and had one of our best vacation stays EVER! We have a large extended family (18) and the accommodations were perfect. The home was immaculate when we arrived. The Wi Fi was fast and worked for all of our devices. The pool was just the right size and the kids loved the slide! We liked that it was a short walk or shuttle to the beach and the community pool was also very nice. We decided after just a few days to rent the home for next year!

Great house and perfect location

House was very nice and the pictures in the listing are very accurate. The location was great. It was our first time in OBX and having been there we really like the Four Seasons community. It is a gated community and once you are there, it is very safe for kids to ride bikes and explore. We liked that a lot compared to just having a house on a normal street. We had a few issues but the management team taking care of the house was very responsive. Kids enjoyed the pool and the slide was a big hit!

Absolutely amazing!! Can’t rave enough about our time at Life O’Rily!! It was a fantastic week. The house lacks NOTHING… great location… amazing neighborhood … every amenity you can imagine… and so much comfort! If it’s available when you’re thinking of traveling to the area, don’t think twice and book it. Lynn is the most gracious host ever and her house is the best. 10/10!!

Second time renter!

This is the second summer we have stayed at Life O Riley and we still love it. There is enough space for 6 adults and 6 children to live together for a week without getting under each other's feet. The pool is fantastic (the slide is a hit with our special needs grandchildren!) and the ability to walk to the beach, the neighborhood playground and pool, and Duck Donuts (of course!) is a plus. You can't go wrong with this house!
