We loved the area, especially being opposite the park and so close to the CBD, the wharves, Salamanca Place and Battery Point. We found the flat comfortable and pleasant to be in and would happily stay again. The kitchen was very well equipped, except for coffee. We would have liked a French Press. We used the oven once, and didn't use the hot plate at all, because of the position of the smoke detector in the kitchen. A resident told us they could be set off by overcooked toast. We used the washing machine and found that things dried well on the rack. Because of the internal ventilation, we recommend the bathroom vent be vacuumed regularly.
