Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
Our stay at this property was extremely disappointing, especially considering it was advertised as accommodating 10 guests across five bedrooms.First, the basics were not provided. Each bedroom had only one towel, which was not sufficient for our group. We ended up having to go out and purchase additional towels ourselves. For 10 guests staying the entire weekend, the house only had two bathrooms stocked with two rolls of toilet paper each — a total of four rolls for the whole house. That’s simply unacceptable. There was also no shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, or any extra toiletries available. The cleanliness was a serious concern. When we stripped the beds before leaving, we discovered that the mattresses were heavily stained and in disgusting condition. In the room with the king-size bed, the mattress had a huge indentation in the middle, causing one of our guests to sink down into it while sleeping. It was extremely uncomfortable. That same room only had two pillows, one completely flat and the other hard as a rock. There were additional maintenance and safety issues. One room had a vent stuffed with paper towels, and there were exposed wires in the house, which was especially concerning since we had a small child staying with us. Communication from the host was also poor. I never received check-in instructions and had to reach out to request them. I had to ask a few times for the door code to access the property, as well ask for checkout instructions.
