Great place to stay by the beach. Would stay here again, and hopefully will! Only updating needed is to sharpen the knives, or just cut your limes before arrival.

The location of this rental was excellent- just steps away from the beach and close to dining and shops. It was great to be in the heart of Fort Myers and see the community coming back to life after the hurricane. That said, the home itself definitely needs some TLC. The air conditioning wasn’t working well during our stay, which made things uncomfortable, especially in the heat. The AC return was covered and thick dust which was honestly pretty gross and something unexpected. Additionally the toilet seat was broken when we arrived a new one was left in the unit but we had to install ourselves (round not oval, which is what the seat required). It’s clear of the area is still recovering and we understand that some things take time. We’re hopeful on the rebuilding of Fort Myers it’s a beautiful place with so much potential. With a bit more attention to maintenance and cleanliness this rental could really shine!
