Ski-in/Ski-out, Panoramic ski slope views, Elevator, Heated Garage

Prime location ! This ski-in / ski-out condo is ideally located, literally on the slopes, near the base of the Peachtree and Westwall lifts. No need to drive or ride the bus to the lifts! The condo is so convenient you can stop in for lunch or grab a snack during your day on the slopes or hiking and biking on the trails.

When you walk into the condo you are struck by the incredible panoramic mountain views.

This unit has floor to ceiling windows and a large wrap-around deck facing the slopes. It also has a second deck off the master bedroom. Our condo has a fireplace, two flat screen TV's, 2 DVD's, cable, Chromecast, High Speed Internet with Wi-Fi and Ethernet ports in the living room and both bedrooms, refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, washer/dryer, shared hot tub, sauna, gas grill and garage parking. There is an elevator from the parking garage.

Our condo accommodates up to 6 guests, there are two bedrooms, a king bed in the master, two twin beds in the second bedroom, and there is additional sleeping space with the a sofa bed (queen) in the living room.

The unit has two full baths, one with a tub/shower combo along with the walk in shower in the master.

The fully equipped kitchen features granite counter tops and a breakfast bar with seating for two. Additionally the dining room table has seating for six, at a beautiful hardwood table.

Soak in the outdoor hot tub while watching the skiers go by, with the peak of Mt. Crested Butte looming overhead.

One garage parking spot is available; however, a car is not necessary. Shuttle service is available from the Gunnison airport 30 miles away. You don't have to drive once you arrive, use the free local bus transportation with a bus stop for the town shuttle a couple hundred yards from the condo complex.

Parking: There are 17 parking spaces in the heated garage and an additional five outside the exit of the garage. Each unit is allowed one parking spot in the garage. Great property! Location was perfect. We enjoyed the views of the mountain from the condo. Kitchen was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. Communication with the owners was easy. Would definitely stay here again!

You truly can’t find a better location! TRUE ski in and ski out. With the covered parking spot with an elevator it made everything so easy. The kids loved the hot tub. It’s an amazing place!! We will definitely be back.

Beautiful views of the mountains and lifts.

Wonderful condo, spacious and very clean. The views are spectacular and you see the lifts Peach tree and West Wall from the living room. Had an amazing stay and plan on staying here again when we come back to Mount Crested Butte!!

Not that our first and second times weren’t great…but with this being our 3rd consecutive stay at Kim & Mike’s; let’s just say we’re locked in. This condo was a true ski-in, ski-out right outside the Peachtree lift. Everything was as advertised. It was very clean and well-kept. Had a minor issue with the oven, but the manager was very responsive and offered several solutions for our inconvenience. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Location and Accommodation

Being slope side on the 3rd floor with so many windows facing the slopes was fantastic. Kids were able to hit the slopes on their own, which is a big deal for us. It was also a peaceful location, down from the village, which is also our preference. Super clean, clearly very cared for and Kim and Mike were very responsive. Absolutely loved it, will most likely be back!

True Ski-in/Ski-out Condo Great for Families

This is truly a ski-in/ski-out condo with an amazingly convenient location, especially for ski school. With stunning mountain views, all the amenities including a fireplace, very well stocked on supplies, and unbeatable convenience to the slopes, it was the perfect place for our families, including two kids under 5, to stay. Kim and Mike were great hosts and amazingly quick on any and all communications. We hope to be back again sooner than later!

Our Home away from Home

The title says it all. This was our 6th consecutive year of staying at Kim & Mike’s place. My family of four has plenty of room/space and all the amenities are readily available. The location is perfect for us and the cleanliness and attentiveness of the property management makes it a breeze! I’m in the process of re-booking! :)

Well, simply put Gateway Condo's are our "go to" when we come to CB. This was out 11th consecutive trip. We're already planning our next! What makes it so great? Location, Location, Location. And the INSTANT communication with the Hosts is also a plus! The condo is sticked with all necessities to cook and the beds are CLEAN and COMFY. TRUE SKi In/Out. Located about 100' from Peach Tree & The West Wall Lifts.

Great location

The location of the property was convenient and close to free transportation. It was not particularly quiet as you always heard the people above you walking around. The small appliances were lacking for the target audience. (It supposedly sleeps 9 but had a tiny 4 cup coffee pot.) We found the beds to be uncomfortable. Finally, the overall cleanliness was lacking. (A straw was on the bathroom floor from a prior renter, counters required wiping down, a used, dirty sponge was left on the kitchen counter, etc). These were issues we didn’t anticipate at this price point. We enjoyed our visit to Crested Butte but will find other accommodations on future visits.

As other reviews indicate, for the past 6 years our cleaning has been top-notch, but it sounds like something was amiss for your visit. I wish you had contacted me (the owner) the day you moved in as we would have taken care of this issue right away. We have discussed your review with our cleaning crew to ensure that the highest standards are maintained. As with most condos or hotels, sometimes our neighbors are very quiet and other times they walk loudly. We’ve heard raves about our beds from previous guests so I’m wondering if the beds are a matter of taste. As you can see in our online photo, the fridge, oven, dishwasher and sink are all full size. Based on your suggestion, we have ordered a larger coffee pot.

Wonderful Month Long Stay

I cannot say enough good things about this property. Beautiful and in the perfect location. We let out 7 year old try snowboarding and put him in a half day ski school for a couple weeks and I could literally see him riding up lifts and coming down on his board even from the comfort of my own bedroom! By the end of our stay he was diamonds . The ski school instructors were top notch and he was sorry to depart. The owners of the condo, Kim and Mike, were more than accommodating and quick with any responses. The place was well appointed with everything you need. The panorama views were amazing from the living and dining room. The fireplace was awesome to have during those cold nights. The heated garage was a definite plus . We plan on being back and I think the Gateway condos has the best location honestly than the others and we loved every minute of our trip. Crested Butte is by far the favorite place in Colorado or really anywhere our family has gone to for winter sports. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Good property, great location.

Our first time at Crested Butte, and I feel as if we hit the lottery, with over three feet of snow during the five days we visited. This rental property has a terrific location, and is accurately depicted on the website. The rental process was smooth, and the owners were helpful, with complete directions. The highs: comfortable king size mattress in the master, twins for our young men; indoor heated parking; elevator to condo; nice master shower; well-stocked (with the possible exception of a non-stick omelet pan) and I enjoyed the automatic ice maker in the fridge. Lows: the heating is a little wonky, and the upstairs neighbors were early risers, whose footsteps creaked through the ceiling; communal hot tub was down for repairs; sauna required a key that we didn't seem to have; would have been nice to have a ski locker on the ground floor or outdoors. Hence the title: property is good, location is great. This worked well for our party of four. On the mountain: Definitely stop in at Uley's for lunch - expensive, yes, delicious, yes. Avoid Butte 66 like the plague that it is - overpriced, nearly as expensive as Uley's and way slower. Loved the Secret Stash pizza place in town. The Elk Street steak house was priced like Del Frisco's, but it was no Del Frisco's. Oh, and if this is your first trip from Denver (and you are driving), the last suburban stop is Conifer, CO. Be prepared for a long, beautiful drive. Final comment: would repeat!

Thanks for the feedback. The hot tub was fixed quickly. The guest info we provide to all renters notes that the room key opens the sauna door, although the lock is sometimes a bit sticky. Glad you enjoyed CB. Come back in summer, or again to ski! Update: we've now added an omelette pan to our well-stocked kitchen
