Stay in the absolute heart of Ottawa when you book this brand new, quirky & bright apartment. Located right next door to the Parliament of Canada and the historic Sparks Street – Canada’s first pedestrian mall, with O-Train Confederation Line connecting you to all over Ottawa.
The view is magnificent, & directly opposite to The Peace Tower of the Parliament. You’ll be in the centre of it all.

It is a nice building, and a nice condo in a great location. My only disappointment is that the furnishings did not match those shown in the online photos. The furnishings were of a much lower quality. Additionally, the dishes and cutlery could have been of higher quality. I was not expecting top-notch, but I was expecting better.

Suite was clean, terrific location near Parliament Hill- easily accessed, highly recommend for those doing business in the city and staying beyond one or two nights. Kitchen tools were very basic - a slight challenge for those who prefer preparing their own meals. Bed was firm, comfortable. Temperature was fine, the thermostat wasn’t adjustable for reducing temperatures at night (at least it wouldn’t for me). Bathroom was very clean, shower head did not provide good water spray.

First of all, host communication and helpfulness is A1. Patio and view to Parliament, large closet (surprisingly rare), good shower and tub, laundry, full cable tv, full length mirror (surprisingly rare), garbage disposal on the same floor, secure building. We are in VRBOs often, and we found this one exceptional.

The property and its location was very appealing to us. The title “luxury “ certainly was not our experience. The furnishings were minimal. The sofa was very uncomfortable for even sitting and as suggested for sleeping if required would have been inadequate. Bedding was not of a quality for a “luxury” rental as were the linens for the bathroom and kitchen. The bathroom mats were clearly not washed between rentals. The area rug in the living area had clearly been used elsewhere and was dirty and stained. There was dust and dirt on the floors, mostly I believe to having sub-par cleaning equipment. I swept and mcgivered a dust pan when we arrived. The kitchen is equipped with upscale appliances-luxury but the utensils, minimal dishes etc are very disappointing. In the morning there was never hot water -needed to wait til at least 9:30-10:00 am to shower. Luckily aur schedule allowed this. The heating system was clearly centrally or unit computer controlled. It was a very chilly week in Ottawa and the unit was not a comfortable temperature and there was little linens to help a person adjust for this. My assessment is that the individual who owns this unit has a very hands off interest in it and the individual or business that are managing the operation of it are not earning there fees. This property as currently furnished(soft and hard furnishings) is not a luxury property.
